“Good service, but food made us ill!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

We spent our first Valentine's Day here in 2009 and loved it, but my husband's birthday dinner last night left us both with digestive troubles for 12+ hours. The waitstaff are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly enamoured with the new award-winning chef, and the complimentary birthday champagne was much appreciated. However, our overall experience was that the menu items -- albeit innovative, tasty, and colorfully presented -- were not chosen with nutritional balance in mind, nor was the menu clear about what to expect in terms of flavors and sauces. The food was rich, buttery, very salty, with the meat dishes lacking balance by "blander" carbs and vegetables. The forced-valet parking in the restaurant's roomy lot was also frustrating.

“Wonderful Meal for Celebration”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

Spent an evening celebrating our anniversary at Flyte, and everything we had was fabulous. The tomato salad was the best we had had this season, and we have tried others at other restaurants. Pleasing to the eye and the palate, colorful and a little spicy. The manager learning of our celebration offered a glass of champagne on them, but we passed and then he brought a small glass of white wine to go better with our salads than the bottle of red we had ordered. Nice. I had the chicken and it was served with the most luscious mashed potatoes and lima beans. My husband had the steak and was equally pleased that he could have it with the sides from the chicken dish. What a great help for someone who loves meat and potatoes, as he does. The desserts were all tempting but we passed as we were totally satisfied from our meal. As the check came, so did 2 small scrumptious brownie bites. We couldn't resist and weren't disappointed. Flyte is our go-to restaurant for company and for date-night and now you can see why. Seriously great service and seriously great food.

“Hidden gem - unusual food pairings...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Visited here on recommendation of a friend. I was not disappointed. Fantastic wine list, bartenders very helpful. Appetizers so large that I order a couple for my dinner. Excellent, although the descriptions sounded weird, upon tasting they were absolutely scrumptous. Nice atmosphere, although walking around the bar area can be tricky if its crowded. I'll be going back to make sure I order a full meal soon. Valet parking provided as it can get crowded quickly.

“WinePairing Enthusiasts - This is for us :)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

When I dine, I wine. I usually start with a cocktail, decide upon my meal, and leave the pairing up to the server. Flyte is a great place for this - an expansive and well crafted wine list with well considered options and smartly selected flight options. It feels more like a wine restaurant that serves great food.

Our server was fantastic - extremely knowledgeable, attentive, friendly. The portions are on the small side, the wine pours are carefully measured, and the ambiance tries. The food was very good, a nice mix of flavors and beautifully presented. Limited menu choices, but extra points from me anytime a restaurant insists on local as much as possible.

Overall, a lovely experience - and let the waiter pair your wine - they know what they're doing here.
