We spent our first Valentine's Day here in 2009 and loved it, but my husband's birthday dinner last night left us both with digestive troubles for 12+ hours. The waitstaff are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly enamoured with the new award-winning chef, and the complimentary birthday champagne was much appreciated. However, our overall experience was that the menu items -- albeit innovative, tasty, and colorfully presented -- were not chosen with nutritional balance in mind, nor was the menu clear about what to expect in terms of flavors and sauces. The food was rich, buttery, very salty, with the meat dishes lacking balance by "blander" carbs and vegetables. The forced-valet parking in the restaurant's roomy lot was also frustrating.
