We stayed there for 3 nights for a spring break getaway. The price was very reasonable (we booked on the hotel website directly and paid an average of $80 a night). The room was very nice and the bed comfortable. The pillows were soft and the comforter nice and fluffy. We did have some problems with the wireless internet but that wasn't that big of a deal. The walls are very thin and I was woken up a few times by the person in the neighboring room flushing the toilet. Really loud noise.
The breakfast was nice but nothing awesome. Would have liked some yogurt offered.
All in all a very good price for the stay. I would definitly recommend it and come back again.

In Nashville for a business conference at the Opryland Convention Center w/ several of my personnel (I have a small business). I decided I didn't want to pay $239/night per room for a 3-star rating at the Opryland hotel so I reserved everyone a room at BW Suites just down the street (which also has a 3 star rating). The accomodations were just fine, typical 3 star. Half the price (less than that) of the Opryland Hotel for basically the same... maybe you don't have the ambience of the Opryland Hotel, which has beautiful gardens etc... but the rooms are basically comfortable hotel rooms. BW Suites rooms had plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. While they state there is free wireless, there is a problem keeping connected in the hotel, and all of our personnel had this issue. Other than the wireless issues which were an incovenience, I would recommend BW Suites to other business travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, nice, not too pricey hotel. I would stay here again for future conventions as well. Meets all the basic needs of a small business hotel.

My wife had a professional meeting at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and we wanted a more affordable place to stay that was close. We stayed there for three nights at about the same cost as one night at the Gaylord Opryland. The Best Western is a 15-20 minute walk away (I made it in 15). We didn't use it but the hotel does provide a shuttle service ($15 per day for your stay) that runs to the airport and the Opryland hotel. You can park in the mall parking lot next to the Opryland hotel and have a 3-minute walk to the nearest hotel entrance, which is what we did most.

Our room, king size bed, was very nice with a good bed. The wireless internet worked great one day but was up and down intermittently another day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a complimentary breakfast that is OK but heavy on carbohydrates that includes a waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, cereal, bagels. English muffins, sweet rolls, muffins, apples, bananas, coffee, tea, milk, orange and cranberry juice. There is a Bob Evans, McDonalds and Cracker Barrel within walking distance. The hotel gave us a discount coupon and recommended Johnny A’s pub down the street and we enjoyed the happy hour prices, the service and the food.

Friend and I recently spent three nights at the BW Suites at Opryland. We visit Nashville a few times per year, and this, so far, is the best place we've stayed.

The word "suites" is a bit mis-leading. It's actually just an extra long room, with a little sofa, table, desk in one end, divided by a partial wall. Still, it was good to have a little elbow room.

Had mini-fridge (great!), sink outside the bathroom, microwave, and coffee maker.

Front desk said all of the beds were new and it appeared they were. Quite comfortable, too.

Worse thing: the lighting in the bathroom is pretty poor.
Kind of annoying but not too bad thing: most of the housekeeping staff apparently does not speak English, so there was a mix-up in getting our room cleaned one day.

Front desk staff was always very friendly and attentive.

Best things: reasonably priced, clean, GREAT location, and Jerry, the shuttle driver. It's worth staying just here to get his service. $10.00 per person downtown and back. He's great - very personable, very clean vehicles, funny, and he's exactly where he says he's going to be at the time he tells you.

Very close to the Opry House and Opry Mills. So lots of shopping and restaurant choices. Easy to get to downtown if you want the drive and park hassle. If not, have the front desk hook you up with Jerry.

Free high-speed wireless internet access worked great.

Will most definately return to this hotel.
