“A beautiful suite in downtown Nashville”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

We stayed for one night in this downtown hotel. As my husband is a Diamond with the Hilton family, we were treated to a top floor upgraded room. I sure was surprised when we opened the door! It was so big and lovely. Nice kitchen area and a table for 4 (would be a great place to play cards). Kitchen was equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and small coffee pot. The living room was comfortable with a pull-out sofa bed and flat screen television as well as a desk area. The bedroom had a king sized bed and large bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi tub. Great room. My only complaint is that there was construction and a lot of it but in a few months time I imagine that will be gone.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 5th floor. Specifically room 514. Very nice for a family with kids. Not too far...

Thanks for commenting about our corner suite; so glad you enjoyed it!

We also will be relieved when the construction around us is finished...by mid November we anticipate most everything will be completed. The Music City Center opened in May and has brought new life to the downtown area for convention groups. We're also excited about the additions to the Country Music Hall of Fame which is more than doubling its size!

Hope to see you again soon!

Great location for visiting downtown Nashville. The Country Music Hall of Fame is next door (literally), and plenty of live music is only 300 yards down the road. The rooms are very clean, breakfast is good (especially the waffles!), and the entire facility was very clean. I'm not a big fan of paper plates and paper cups for breakfast, but everything else was very good.

Thanks for your comments, Dave! We do enjoy an awesome location to the fun activities in downtown Nashville. I too, would rather have china cups and plates but ours are biodegradable plates, and recycled cups and sleeves which helps the environment. Hope to see you again in Nashville!

We stayed in a standard king room located on 6th floor we were very lucky to have a view straight up the street to the city. The room is clean spacious and a comfortable bed with a soft quilt. Breakfast is included for our stay which is good value however there is not a lot of room to eat and all the plates, cups and cutlery is plastic, handy to grab and go but maybe an option for both glass or plastic would be better.

This hotel is in a good location, however a couple of things let it down.
The reception staff are not very helpful or friendly. We had bought a bottle of wine to enjoy in our room but had only had paper cups. Reception were not helpful and explained this was a limited service hotel. We walked over to the Hilton where the staff went out of their way to phone numerous shops to find us one that sold glasses, even though we didn't stay there. Next time we will definitely consider the Hilton next door. Our room was ok, but we found bugs in our room each day. We knew it was some type of beetle and not harmful. On checkout we brought this to the attention of reception who thanked us and explained it was some sort of summer beetle and was a common problem. We had no issue with that and understand but they should let people know so they don't freak out, not wait till guests bring it to their attention.
Breakfast was just ok, but drinking coffee from paper cups just does not do it for us. We were supposed to have a 12pm checkout but had knocks on the door twice asking us if we were checking out. Also there was no suitcase stand for our cases and insufficient hangers in our wardrobe.

Room Tip: Stay in a room above the 2nd floor to avoid noise

We chose to stay here because we have stayed here before and it was excellent all around experience. Clean, friendly staff, reasonably priced, and good breakfast in the morning. Super nice staff, especially the night staff who helped us out, recommended some dining places that delivered to the hotel, and just all around friendly.

This hotel is in a fantastic location in downtown Nashville, close to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center which is where we were attending a concert, close to the Ryman, and close to all of the bars on Broadway. Everything was within walking distance, which was great.

The only downside I would say is the construction going on around the hotel (not on the hotel itself) but they are not in charge of that.

My group and I are hailing from NYC, where everyone is presumably rude and we were very surprised to find out upon check-in that Nashville should be the assumed rudest city in America. Luckily after exploring the town, we found out that it wasn't the entire city of Nashville, however, just out hotel. The nicest, most helpful people here I encountered was the housekeeping staff, the man in the garage painting, and Zach, who worked the night shift. The valets didn't help three women out of the car with their luggage, instead they stood from the valet stand and watched us take our 6 bags out of the car. We were never greeted, no hello or good morning the entire duration of our stay. It was just an interesting experience to say the least. I think the only reason this hotel is still open is because of it's great downtown location.

Thanks for your time completing a review for our hotel. My sincere apologies for the rudeness you encountered...we take complaints very seriously and will discuss the specifics you mentioned with our staff. Also thanks for highlighting those on our staff who were courteous such as Zack...I'll be sure to let him know!

If Nashville is included in your future travel, please give us a second chance to change your mind regarding southern hospitality. Thanks again.

I recently returned from a trip to Nashville with five women. We stayed in a two queen room with a pull out couch, room 318 I believe. All five of us were really impressed with the room. It was spotlessly clean, no mildew in the shower, no stains on the rug, very clean towels and sheets and the white duvets were spotless as well. The room was very large and fit five women very comfortably. The mini fridge and sink area was great for all of our snacks and drinks and also served as an extra mirror for getting ready. We all appreciated that the toilet and shower we seperated frothe sink and mirror area. This made it easy for us all to quickly get ready to go out. We reserved with an AAA discount and while the room was expensive (around $350/nt), we divided it among the five of us, what a deal! Breakfast was great, lots of fresh fruit, waffles, toast, yogurt and coffee. Wore our jammies down and it looked like eveyone else did too. The hotel is a safe 2-3 block walk directly to Broadway where most of the entertainment is. No need for a can or any kind of ride. Paying a fee for parking at a hotel makes me angry but every hotel was doing it (so obviously the Hampton Inn jumped on the bandwagon). I think it really classes a place down. Obviously a lot of people will have cars when staying at a hotel...they are traveling. I just feels like a low life way to scheme money out of people. Parking issue aside, this was a wonderful hotel and I would recommend staying.
