“King Room with whirlpool tub!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2011

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in April for 3 nights. We had family members that flew there to meet us for a long weekend, and we went for the RUSH concert at the Bridgestone Arena. It was within walking distance to all of the downtown, touristy things to do. We were only about 2 blocks away from the Arena, and the weather was beautiful so walking to and from the concert was great. The hotel was very clean, in a quiet, safe neighborhood, and very convenient. Got the King size bed/whirlpool room, and boy was that tub great to soak in after standing at the concert for 3 hours!! Slept like a baby that night!! The only complaint was $17 per day to self park your car, but you have to pay for parking everywhere, downtown, so not a big deal.

In town one night to attend a concert at the arena and this was the perfect location. I'm usually not disappointed with the Hampton chain and this was no exception. Check in was somewhat slow but in fairness to the staff they were completely full on this date. The room was clean and spacious and the beds were super comfortable. The free breakfast the next morning was also a cut above most hotel chains "free" breakfast offerings. The hotel website says 400 yards to the arena and I would have to say that's dead on. Walking back to the room at night seemed safe enough as there were plenty of other guests attending the show so we were not alone. The parking fee of 17.00 is a little steep but I knew that when I booked the room so no surprise there, plus had I just driven downtown and parked in a lot it probably would have cost me at least ten. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone attending an event at the Bridgestone or just wanting a nice central location in downtown Nashville.

I recently stayed at Hampton Inn Downtown Nashville and was highly pleased and surprised at how great this hotel is. Being greeted with valet service, friendly clerk at check in, and getting to check in early were some of the many perks about this hotel. Not to mention the free breakfast buffet, and the close vicinity (2 blocks) to Broadway, where all the bars and nightlife happen! This place is awesome. The room was so comfortable with ultra plush bedding and nice big shower and bathroom. It was the perfect size for the 2 of us. We are already planning on staying here again. Yes, you do have to pay to park, but I would recommend paying the $5 extra bucks to valet. Those guys went out of their way to help us out. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We recently traveled to Nashville for the first time for a long weekend vacation. The Hampton Inn Downtown Nashville more than met our expectations. The staff was super friendly and helpful, The location couldn't be beat. Compared to many cities, Nashville doesn't have many downtown options. Not only was the Hampton within walking distance to the downtown tourist spots and Broadway entertainment, it was also easily accessible to get in and out of with the car. Yes, you have to pay for parking, but I have never been to any major downtown area where that wasn't the case. Being able to walk to bars and restaurants on Broadway saved a lot of money and hassle as there were crowds nearly every night at Bridgestone Arena for major events. In addition, it was very affordable--Much less than we are used to paying in downtown Austin or San Antonio when there are major events going on.

Stayed here for 3 nights after only booking 1 night as it was so convinient for the main attractions. Its about 5mins walk to Broadway where the honky tonks are, its across the road from the Country music Mesuem (which is a MUST! if you like country music, dont know why you woulod be there if you didnt actually) Clean, free breakfast, coffee all day and cookies brought out in the afternoon, rooms quiet and loads of parking spaces (bit pricey). Dont know how different it would be in Summer as it was pretty quiet being january.

Stayed here for one night during a short visit to Nashville. This location can't be beat. You don't need your car once you're there. It was cold, snowy, icy when I was in town and was glad to not have to drive. The Ryman, the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum, Broadway, etc. were all a few short blocks away. The property is very new and clean. Underground parking. Great staff. Definitely recommend this location.

We stayed at this hotel for the Garth Brooks concert in December and we also stayed in September, 2010. The location can't be beat for downtown. Just a few blocks to Broadway and right across from the Hall of Fame. The front desk staff, Joey, Hunter, Natalie and Bill have exceptional customer service skills and is one of the main reasons I continue to visit this hotel everytime I visit Nashville. Everytime we entered or exited the hotel, they would always greet us by our name. The rooms are clean, and the bed and pillows sleep good. Whoever hires the front desk staff at this hotel should be commended for outstanding hiring skills. Thanks to all for making our stay always perfect.
