“Excellent Accommodations at the TD House B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

My husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay in Nashville. We love B & B's so when searching the area, the TD House seemed perfect...less than 10 minute ride to downtown Broadway, rooms on the website looked great so we booked it. Richard Demonbreaun (inn keeper/owner of the house) was the most accommodating host! From corresponding back/forth with him before our stay to our departure, he could not be more pleasant. You feel as if you had always known him. Our ride from the airport was approximately only 20 minutes..easy commute there. We arrived, met Richard and he and our accommoations were PERFECT. We had chosen the "Merlot" room, bedroom upstairs with 4 poster queen bed (very comfortable) .it had a fireplace full bath, lots of windows and nicely decorated. Two other couples were staying also while we were there and it was so nice at breakfast time sitting in the fireplace dining room talking to the other guests, getting ideas/options from each other on area restaurants. Richard makes excellent cooked to order eggs while serving something special along with them (pancakes, fresh fruit, bacon), another morning good southern grits, biscuits/gravy, eggs..just wonderful. He cannot do enough for you while you are there. If you are a B & B type of person, look no further stay here. It was nice leaving the hustle/bustle of downtown each evening and coming back to the Inn. You can have beer/wine at the Inn for $1.00..(honor system, just leave the $$ on the table). You truly felt like "home" here and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: There's only 3 rooms to choose from I believe..Merlot room is upstairs, quiet, with fireplace in...

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Timothy Demonbreun House. Location is great! Very easy to get to all the sites in Nashville. Richard was a wonderful host and cooks a great breakfast. We stayed in the Merlot room. Very clean, comfortable room!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very nice and clean and we felt at home while we were there. Richard fixed wonderful hot breakfast each morning and we had a special private dinner. The atmosphere was perfect. We had sea bass and rack of lamb with all the trimmings. Everything wonderful ( although, I would have prefered my lamb with less fat to deal with). the creme brulee was great. We would definitely recommend this B and B.

This is a great place to stay. The room was lovely, the breakfast excellent and the host charming. The location of this BandB is very good in a nice area and close to the main road to get to the main parts of Nashville. We sat on the lovely verandah talking to the host and other guests on the morning we left and it took quite a long time to actually leave .... that should tell you what you need to know..

We had never been to Nashville. We chose the TD because of its locale, price and availability. It is a beautifully restored home in a quiet neighborhood. As another reviewer mentioned, Richard has bundled all the extra fees into one. No extra charges for parking (off street), breakfast and room. Everything was delightful. The location is convenient to downtown and highways.

Room Tip: Look at the pictures of the rooms and descriptions. They are very accurate.

This was our first trip to Nashville and we enjoy staying at B&Bs when we travel. The location was great with a short drive to downtown and the Broadway scene and an even shorter drive to the freeway as we moved about. Our stay was from Saturday through Thursday and we were amazed that at no time did we run into any huge traffic snarls in the area of the B&B whether coming or going. Richard is a wonderful host and prepares an incredible breakfast. He will prepare breakfast at any time you ask. The weather didn't allow us to take advantage of the pool but the grounds are very inviting and well maintained. We like the quiet of most B&Bs and this one did not disappoint. Even with the proximity to downtown both the house and neighborhood were very quiet and we always felt safe and secure.

Compared to the pricing of area hotels and given the advantages and amenities, this stay was a value with taxes, breakfast and off street parking included. Richard knows Nashville and he probably saved us additional money with recommendations on other values in the area.

There may have been some disappointments but neither of us could recall as the overall experience was simply excellent. Should we return to Nashville, the Timothy Demonbreun House will definitely be our choice for room accomodations.

Our first time in Nashville and we were delightfully surprised by this B&B. We were the only guests at the time so the house was extremely nice and quiet. Richard was extremely helpful and friendly. He drove us to Broadway in his pickup truck (a first for us!), showed us around and gave us good advice.

Our room was the Chardonnay room. The rooms are connected by the bathroom which was a great idea. We really liked the ceiling fans and the decor. Being a historic place, it provided a sense of nostalgia.

In addition, the breakfast was awesome. Richard made us homemade hot cakes and french toast, which were absolutely delicious! The best B&B breakfasts we had during this trip.

We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Nashville. We highly recommend it!

Room Tip: If you're traveling as a family of four, we would recommend to choose the Chardonnay room. The l...
