“Really good music”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

The Pulled Pork sandwich was really good! So I guess that is why it is a bit more expensive than other places on Broadway.

Their is different music up stairs, I listen to really good music one Saturday evening, but the music changes each day, so go around and find what to like to listen to on Broadway.

“Authentic Barbecue, Great Service, plus Live Music”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2014

We took a break from the Country Music Hall of Fame for some lunch, and headed down to Broadway to try a place that was recommended by one of the docents at the Museum. But when we got inside, the line was long, it was a lunchroom-style counter, and the food looked less than stellar. So we decided to try Rippy's, which we had passed on our way. One of the best decisions we made on the trip to Nashville.

We sat upstairs, which was open air and breezy. A small musical duo was playing for the customers (and there was a completely different band playing in the room downstairs, too).

Our waiter came over right away, answered any questions we had and made a couple of recommendations. We both ordered a half slab of ribs and the beans and cole slaw. The food came out pretty quickly, and was obviously cooked to order, that is to say, not an over cooked slab that had been sitting on the grill all day drying out. Plenty of BBQ sauce on the table made the experience great.

Good prices, great atmosphere, and some of the best BBQ I have ever had.

“Best BBQ in Nashville”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2014

There are a million places to eat on Broadway and we just happened upon this one. We ate outside on the covered rooftop. There was live music (of course) which was great but the BBQ was simply outstanding. I had BBQ all throughout the south and this was by far the best. I had the pulled chicken sandwich and my daughter had the pulled pork. Super delicious!!!

“Great place to start”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2014

Friends and I had several different apps, all of which were very tasty. Drinks were good. Apparently Nashville won't let you walk with a drink but Irish coffee IS coffee, right?

“Better than average city experience.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

Must see. Barbecue looked good but tables were full on the weekend. Great country cover band music, I donated a few dollars because they played for tips.
