This restaurant was right next door to our Hampton Inn hotel and as such provided a convenient place to eat on a Sunday evening. Luckily it provided plenty more besides.
At first you wondered though, as you picked your way through the debris on the floor. At our table, some of this was explained by the buckets of free peanuts that were the cause of the shells strewn all over the floor. Not put off by this, we helped ourselves to the peanuts and ordered the ribs, which proved an excellent choice.
But my best decision was to try the 'Blue Moon' beer on draught. Big mugs, served with great big wedges of orange perched on the rim of the glass. These could and should be somewhat smaller segments (but this is America) as access to your drink was severely hampered. I removed mine, following two unsuccessful attempts at tasting this excellent Belgium-style Wheat Ale.
Accompanied by the constant beat of rockabilly, country and southern rock music, I had a great evening. Very good value all round.
