“Can't Beat it for a Nashville Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

This is just a lot of fun. Be prepared to wait on weekends, but that's ok, you can stroll around to the shops. Best jams and jellies, great veggies and of course, breakfast all day!

“Fun stop off the beaten path”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

We went to Loveless on purpose. I don't think many folks just happen across it. Great atmosphere love that it used to be a motel. The food was delicious. We ordered country ham and all the fixins and fried chicken with sweet potatoes and fried green tomatoes. We enjoyed it all. The waitstaff was very friendly and they seemed to help each other out which made everyone enjoy the experience more. We went just before Christmas. There were a lot of parties and gatherings the staff handled it all very well. The small gift shops around the cafe are cute and the staff is friendly. The biscuits are to die for and the homemade jams are delicious. You are invited to take the extras home and they even have small lids to fit on the plastic cups that the jams come in.

“A Must at Least Once.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Yes, it's a wait...but the food was excellent and I was not disappointed. The servers are very friendly and the food was tasty. This was probably the best hash brown casserole I've ever had (Cracker Barrel could take lessons on how to make it from this place). Maybe a little pricey but you need go to at least once.

“Amazing fried chicken!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

On a recent trip to Nashville, I insisted we go to Loveless Cafe. On our first try, there was 1 hour 45 minute line. We tried again at 4:30 on New Year's Eve and had a 10 minute wait. We ate family style with fried chicken and meatloaf. Delicious. The best fried chicken I have ever had. The biscuits were a plus and my nine year old daughter enjoyed watching the biscuits being made. I would recommend Loveless for some great Southern cookin'. Good thing the restaurant is in Nashville and not my hometown or I would have a hard time staying away when the need for comfort food strikes!

“The famous Loveless Cafe is no more.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Sadly, the charming little cafe that was famous for their biscuits, homemade froit preserves, country ham, and fried chicken is no more. It has been remodeled to accomodate more people, and the menu has changed with many uninspired additions. It is a typical eatery now.
