Became an instant Cash fan. Well worth the trip. There is a ton of history there. Been there twice and will be back again.

“Great tribute to the man in black!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2014

I am not a country music fan but I am a Johnny Cash fan! This was a great way to spend an hour or so. Quick to go through but non the less, a lot of memorabilia. Parking is way more expensive downtown so if your hotel has a shuttle, go with it. I am not one to get carried away and have to buy anything but after the tour, you really want at least a guitar pick! Don't forget the Sun Records room while there. It is entertaining in itself!

“All About the Man in Black”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2014

Although this museum sits in the middle of the block there is a lot to be seen. As you enter there is a store loaded with Cash stuff. I purchased a cook book for my mom that has Johnny's mom's recipes. Once inside the museum on the self guided tour there are many interactive points to be enjoyed. Oodles of music can be heard throughout the tour. I especially liked the videos. You can travel through Johnny's history through the individual years and experience his walk. There was a lot of personal papers and some clothing he wore. Some of June's gowns were displayed also.

“A nice stop in Nashville”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2014

Appreciating Johnny Cash's music but not knowing too much about him, I really enjoyed this museum. It is a nice size, with a lot of information and I feel like you get your money's worth. The workers were very knowledgable and nice. This museum won't take all day to get through but that is good.

“A "MUST VISIT" IN NASHVILLE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2014

If you only visit one attraction in Nashville then make it this one! A real history of Johnny Cash with dozens of pieces of memorobilia including letters, clothes posters etc.
Plenty of music to listen to as well as a small cinema showing his film career.
A lovely way to spend a couple of hours!
