“Great Music!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

We did not eat at Robert's but went for the music. We heard the best band in Nashville there on 3 occasions - Don Kelley Band. They play Thursday through Saturday from 6 - 10 pm. My husband is a musician and is a bit fussy about these things and he agreed that the Don Kelley Band was the best we heard in Nashville. Oh, afterwards we saw Steven Tyler on the street and Keith Urban was playing in a few of the bars on the same night!

“Great atmosphere”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

We went in for a drink and watch some of the talented folks trying to make it. We sat at the bar and watched the fried bologna sandwich come off the grill. It's $5 for a beer and fried bologna sandwich, not a bad deal. This place along with Tootsies are legendary. I enjoyed this place more than Tootsies. There was a little more happening and it had great atmosphere.

“Great atmosphere, even at lunch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

Went here for lunch with my 83 year old father - he was all over the 'recession special' of fried bologna sandwiches for $5 - and I was all about the local beer and live music. Oh yeah, the deep fried pickles too! Great service, would love to go back at night for more beer and music.

“Good food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

The music was great, not overly loud like some of the others. The food is fun food, who would expect a fried bologna sandwich at a restaurant.qq

“The Real Deal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

Stopped in here on the way to LP Field for the UK v. WKU game. Was attracted to the genuine "honky tonk" feel (well-worn decor, a lot of PBR signage, grill behind the bar and a very good band playing Merle, Johnny & Marty), but the food was a pleasant surprise. The chicken fingers and fried pickle spears were classic bar food, and they were made even better with ice cold PBR.......
Next time I head to Nashville, I'll start the good times at Robert's......
