“Clean and Friendly but it's time to Remodel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

My family and I stayed here while attending my cousin's wedding. All seven of us piled into a suite room that fit us comfortably. The room and hotel itself was very clean. The staff at the lobby was very friendly and accommodating.

However, I recommend just skipping the continental breakfast. The selection is very good with even biscuits, gravy, hard boiled eggs, waffles, etc. However, breakfast is served in a very tiny room off to the side of the lobby. The food is along opposite walls. The room gets very crowded quickly. There are also very few tables to sit at and no trays to easily take items up to your room. Luckily there is a McDonald's just next door. If you are having to fight a crowd you might as well go stand in line there!

Everything is a little dated in this hotel. The beds are very hard. The blankets were clean but were worn and had cigarette burn holes in them. The two pull out couches need replacement mattresses all together. In both pull out you can feel the springs in a mattress.

Look to this place if you need a decent rate for a large group of people to stay in one room. We crashed here for the wedding and went shopping at OpryMills the next day. So the location is convenient. It just takes a few minutes to get downtown to where the wedding we attended was.

We stayed on a busy Saturday night (Carrie Underwood concert). Despite a crowded and noisy lobby upon our arrival, front desk staff member was polite and efficient, and check-in was smooth and quick with no issues. Room was adequate though a little dated, but basically what we expected. Poor pillow quality (flat) was noticeable, but otherwise a restful, quiet sleep. Breakfast was decent, though somewhat limited due to large number of people converging at the same time. Compared to what we could have spent at other chain hotels in the area, we felt we got our money's worth. No major complaints, and would stay again.

We stayed here one night, it is in a fantastic location and the price was great, rooms were clean and nice, the elevator is old and slow, that would be my only complaint. We could walk to a ton of resturants and gift shops, the grandole opry was a short walk as well. Very Very nice location, I would stay here again for sure.

We wanted a hotel close to The Grand Ole Opry and this was close enough at a reasonable price.
It's a bit of a walk to the Opry from here but no more than about 20 minutes if you're fairly brisk.
It's nothing flash but if you're looking for somewhere at a nice price, this will do it.
There are lots of low to mid range restaurants nearby and local buses stop right behind the hotel so access to downtown Nashville is easy enough.
We stayed during CMA 2013 and even though it was busy, it didnt ever seem TOO busy.
I'd definately stay there again.

The location of this hotel was great! It is very close to Opry Mills and The Grand Ole Opry. It was however not clean enough for my family. The carpets looked like the needed to be vacuumed and the whole place had a moldy/musty smell. The TV in our suite's bedroom did not work correctly and the access point for the wifi would never let us connect with any of our devices. This hotel is very dated and in bad need of a remodel as well. I did like the roominess of our suite.

We stopped here for the night on our way to Atlanta,Ga. The hotel staff was courteous, and friendly, The hotel is located right across the street from The Grand Ol Opry, and Opry Mills shopping center. There are several restaurants in the area, and if you like to "rough it" there are several campgrounds just down the way from the hotel. There is also shopping, a go-kart track & Putt-Putt nearby. The hotel itself was older, though clean and comfortable. Be advised though the free breakfast was supposed to be from 6:00am til 9:00am and the bagels, donuts etc. were all gone by 8:30 am.

Some residents were having a bar-b-q party in the garage parking lot. They had cookers going and open beer containers and a strong smell of pot. Not a place to take kids. My wife told manager of this and I think they told them no pot but the party went on. Will look for another place to stay when in Nashville again.
