“Great Hotel For Reunions”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

We recently had our family reunion at this hotel, and it was excellent for our group. The suites are spacious and comfortable with newly updated furnishings. The whole hotel is bright and colorful. The breakfast is excellent! There is a lot of room to sit for breakfast. The staff is great and so helpful. The pool is huge! Parking is free, unlike many other hotels I checked into. It is an easy drive to all the attractions in Nashville. Although this hotel is next to the airport, you rarely hear planes, and when you do they are not distracting. Everything was very clean. Beds were great with lots of pillows. TV was easy to work. I appreciated free Wi-fi. Although the hotel was full while we were there, we did not hear a lot of noise while we were in our rooms. Great experience!

Recently stayed at this hotel because it was close to the Nashville airport. Staff were super friendly and the rooms were super clean!! The beds were a bit small with small pillows that flattened out a bit but at least you got four pillows per bed. We did not use the indoor pool or laundry but there were always people going to the pool. The breakfast had the best selection of food....boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, ham, cut-up fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, apple juice, orange juice, coffee, and much more. One morning we got to breakfast just as they were closing...9:30 AM. The staff person left everything out an additional 30 minutes so we could eat. This place is VERY service-oriented. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave and small bar area. The large sink area is not located in the bathroom and the sleeping area is separate from the couch area. Our son could play a video game on one flat screen while we watched TV on another flat screen....very nice! This hotel is also very close to the Opry Mills Mall and Grand Ole Opry as well as the airport. Restaurants within a block or two include Wendy's, McDonald's and Ruby Tuesdays.

My family stayed here for two nights recently. Our suite was very spacious and very clean. They have the only indoor heated pool in a hotel that is actually warm! It was very quiet too - except for the malfunction in the fire alarm system at 5:30 a.m.! The breakfast was okay for microwaved eggs and the turkey sausage was most unpalatable. That being said, if we're ever in Nashville again, we will surely stay here.

Room Tip: It was worth the $10 extra for a suite for the four of us to spread out instead of just a double roo...

I don't know about you, but in my city, you never stay in hotels or rather motels near the airport. I am always a little leery about staying in them, but this one was a great surprise! All the hotels near Nashville's airport seem really nice and clean.
My friend and I take a shopping trip a couple times a year to Nashville. We usually stay at The Hotel Preston, but they didn't have a room available for one night of our stay. We decided to give the Springhill Suites a try.
The location is pretty good. Everything we were going to was about 15-20 minutes away. We are very familiar with Nashville, so nothing seems to far or out of the way for us.
The rooms and hallways were super clean and I liked the large room set up. There was a mini kitchen with a small fridge and microwave. Two TVs, a couch, desk, two double beds. I liked how the bathroom was in the bedroom part of the room, rather than by the door. I didn't have to traipse across the entire room in the middle of the night. Also, I like having the sink outside of the actual bathroom.
The lobby is very trendy, with a boutique type decor to it. Even though it is close to the airport, you don't hear the planes landing or taking off. The pool area is nice and clean. They have towels down by the pool area, so you don't have to carry anything with you down there.
The best part of the hotel...the buffet breakfast in the morning. It was super nice. Eggs, breakfast meat, large assortment of fruit, pastries, cereal, beverages, oatmeal and toppings, make your own waffles. Very nice. The staff working the breakfast time are very nice and helpful, as are the people at the front desk.

As a weight watchers leader, I really appreciated the huge variety of weight watchers friendly choices for breakfast. Fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, turkey sausage. It was truly a special treat to not feel guilty for enjoying a full breakfast with my family. The beds were also comfortable, this was a very quiet hotel considering its proximity tot he airport. Pool large. Exercise room adequate.

Stayed here for one night as a stop over after a very long flight and the staff were very friendly and helpful even though it was midnight when we arrived.
Room was clean and large and the disabled facilities were good. There was plenty of room with a seating area and the beds, generally had a nice feeling to it.
Breakfast was alright with a choice of egg and sausage, plus cereal and baked goods.
pool looked nice even though we didn't get the opportunity to use it.

I am currently at this hotel and only staying for 1 more night. So far so good. This place is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and I had some real eggs this time. Cereal, oatmeal, toast, and hard boiled eggs were also provided as an option for breakfast. The indoor pool is big and not muggy feeling. I checked out the gym and that was a nice air conditioned room. The ladies at the front have been very nice to us. We even got some printed out directions to downtown. You won't be making a mistake coming here. My only complaint is that I cannot make a direct left hand turn to the hotel when coming from downtown (less than 10 min drive). Thanks TA for great reviews.
