“Great little hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2014

From the moment we arrived we where made welcome. We arrived early in the hope that we could book in.Shirley on reception could,nt have been nicer .The rooms where clean and tidy ,great little pool the beds and the pillows where lovely and the breakfast was fine. She pointed us to a nice little restaurant across the road called Darfons. American fair steaks and sea food. We only stayed 1 night as we where flying home the next day but i would,nt have minded staying longer. The price we payed was very reasonable. You could do a lot worse than stay here for a couple of nights.

This hotel is nice and in a good location. Friendly staff. The hotel is in need of upgrading or time for a refurbish, showing a little wear and tear, but certainly works for two nights. We used points and it was just fine. Beds a little hard, but after an 8 hour drive I could have slept on nails and been fine. Did not have time to eat the free breakfast, so do not know how that was. Bathroom was fine, needs updating, not enough towels for two people they gave us 3 and I asked for more and that was no problem. Heating/Cooling system a little noisy, but since you are near the airport it covers the planes take off and landing. Not a big deal. Internet connection very very slow. Almost terrible. But overall I would stay there again. Worked for us.

not up to other marriott quality. Walls thin, could hear everything in the room next door. Didn't recognize me as a silver marriott member or my room request. Was clean and well maintained, breakfast was good. Had a nice looking indoor pool although we didn't use it.

I stayed at this property one night while in Nashville on business. I chose it because it is close to the airport, had a shuttle, and restaurants near by.

My room was clean and spacious, with no issues. There was a nice large HD TV plenty of channels a spacious work desk. Could have used a few more electrical outlets, or provide a power strip, but I think I know why they don't as people would probably steal them regularly.

Single pane window did not deaden the noise from the parking lot, but it quieted down after about 1030 pm.
Did not have time for breakfast as I had an early flight, shuttle was very prompt and driver friendly. Did not really hear any noise from the airport but I like planes so it does not bother me anyway. I guess people who stay by an airport and complain about the noise should stay somewhere else.
Overall positive experience. Staff was nice and helpful with providing information on nearby restaurants that deliver.

Would use again if in the area.

Check in was great. very nice employees. That's where it ended. The beds are horrible. Hard as a brick. The paint in the hotel was old and beaten down. the room didn't smell very appealing and the sheets and pillows had a smell to them. I slept for about 4 hours when the pain in my back woke me. I just jumped in the shower and headed for the airport at 4:00 am for my 10:00 am flight. There was no getting back to sleep. The mattress by the way was one of those half mattresses that Marriott came up with back in the 90's. I call them prison mattresses. The outlets for use were under the desk and difficult to get to. Marriott should be ashamed to have their name on the hotel.

Room Tip: Stay away or bring your own mattress.

I had read the reviews, both good and bad for the property, so was prepared for the worse and hoping for the best. After driving in pouring rain for 8 hours, we finally arrived at the hotel. The staff at the front desk were very friendly, fast check-in. We had two rooms, both were clean. Beds were harder than we are used to, but slept good. No noise from other rooms or hallway. Hotel is near airport - but only heard one plane all night. Hot water in shower. Sink is separate from tub/shower and toilet, which makes it much easier for a family. Breakfast was good. Eggs, bacon and Canadian bacon, oatmeal, fruit, bread, muffins, yogurt - even Greek yogurt, coffee, juice, milk...Breakfast room is small, but can always take back to room. Didn't have a chance to use pool - but looked nice. No hot tub. Overall had a good experience even though this is the lower brand of Marriott. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: I always choose top floor so that there is not somebody above me jumping around.

The rooms were completely disgusting and the pillows smelled bad. The only good thing about the hotel was the breakfast right before we left for good. I wish we looked at trip advisor before staying here. When your elite customers complain that should tell you something
