“Excellent Hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

I stayed here last March for the beginning of the NCAA Tournament to see the University of Cincinnati Bearcats play. We needed a hotel that wasn't very expensive, still nice and close to Broadway. I was blown away by how nice this hotel was and would recommend anyone staying here again. The free breakfast in the morning is by far the best breakfast I've ever been served at a hotel, the free happy hour at night was another added plus. The rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable, the weather was nice and it was perfectly fine to walk from the hotel to Broadway, use the shuttle Embassy Suites provided or even take a cab (it was less than $10). Great hotel and I continue to try and stay here anytime that I plan on coming to Nashville.

This hotel is located on Broadway right in the middle of the trendy West End area. You have so many wonderful restaurants within walking distance of this property. You are only blocks away from the downtown honky tonk scene...but need a cab, too far to walk. 5 minute drive maybe. Rooms are very clean, nicely appointed and spacious. Updated and looks new. Very beautiful lobby and breakfast area. Huge wall fountain to enjoy while having the free evening appetizers & drinks (unlimited), or the wonderful breakfast buffet each morning. Best hot breakfast buffet I've seen in an American hotel. Really enjoyed being there!

We stay at embassy suites as often as possible, when traveling and this particular one was as nice as all others.I was a little agitated that when i checked prices on monday it was $159.00 and when i booked the following day it was $229.00 Staff was wonderful and very helpful with giving us information on local attractions. One downfall is we were told it was within walking distance from downtown...as far as distance it's possible, but found out the hard way that there are very busy intersections to cross that are a safety issue if you walk.hotel offers shuttle service but we also found it can be quite a wait as this hotel is VERY busy.Much easier to get a taxi as it only costs $5 to $8 one way. Also found the breakfast area to be very congested and a 15 minute wait to have an omlet made.Breakfast staff was very pleasant but it was impossible for them to keep up with restocking as busy as it was... so it lead to them being out of foods, coffee, bowls etc. quite often.needless to say set your alarm and be at breakfast as soon as they start serving.

We stay in Embassy Suites almost exclusively when we travel, so we assumed that our experience would be similar to other ES stays (which is consistently good). It was for the most part with the exception of the valet service and some room details. No sheet set for the hide-a-bed in the room, and no answer in housekeeping when we called was a minus. Also a huge red stain on the carpet in our room...looked like kool aid, but still kind of tacky. We paid close to 300 bucks (including tax) for our suite, and expected more. The valet service was kind of a mess. Couldn't find our car because our name was spelled incorrectly in the computer. We heard apologies, but they didn't sound sincere. The hotel was very busy, and I think all of the staff seemed frazzled.

This is a great hotel. You will not be disappointed. The complimentary breakfast is just awesome. The cocktail party is very nice. It is a great place to stay for close to downtown events. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The are very quick at there jobs and even in busy times they are organized and not chaos. I'm staying again in a few weeks. It's worth driving to the Bridgestone Arena ( 5 minutes drive ) and pay for parking there than pay for a hotel within walking distance for 1 &1/2 to 2 times the price. AWESOME hotel...stay one time and this one will sell itself to you.

Room Tip: They are all great suites... Don't worry about where they put you...

We just experienced a very enjoyable stay at Embassy Suites on Broadway! Everything ran so smoothly from check in to check out!!! We arrived about 2 1/2 hours before check in, to attend a trade show at the hotel. We were not expecting to be allowed to check in, but I went to the front desk to check about where to leave our luggage until check in, they told us they could put us right into our room, sweet! Our suite was very roomy, nicely appointed, and very clean!!! Our king bed was very comfortable, and I love the quilted spread on top, instead of a bulky typical bedspread, I feel it is easier to wash, it seemed fresh and was very clean! Our room was located at the side of the hotel, we could hear music playing until about 11:00 p.m. But this is "Music City" after all! The next morning we were offered the largest complimentary breakfast we have ever experienced!!! There were made to order omlets and waffles, if you didn't want to wait, precooked pancakes and scrambled eggs accompanied fried potatoes, bacon, sausage, toast, Danish, fruits, cereal and yoghurt. Just be sure when you get in line to order your omlets or waffles that you stay in line, if it is busy someone will gladly lay claim to your order!!! There is plenty of seating available, even when it is very busy! The staff we encountered were very efficient and very professional! Check out was a breeze and the wait for our car to be brought out by the valet was only about 5-10 minutes from the time we called! I hope to stay again in the future!!!

Stayed there this week with my family to tour Vanderbilt and Nashville. The room was perfect. It was a two room suite that was a generous size. When the kids wanted to stay up late and watch t.v., we were able to close the door and go to sleep without being disturbed. We had a great view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast and evening reception in the lobby. We utilized the shuttle a few times a day. The drivers were awesome! I highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again.

Room Tip: Stay on a higher floor to take in the view of Nashville.
