“Really enjoyed our stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2008

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was nice and courteous. There was a Manager's Special which consisted of free popcorn, drinks and snacks. The suite was nice. I enjoyed having the bedroom separate from the sitting area.
Close to Opry Mills and several restaurants.

researched accommodation before making a decision on where to stay. normally always go with country inn and suites but saw that the drury rated #2 out of #134 and it was highly rated by others. gave it a try. staff was friendly. lobby was big with sitting area for t.v./lounging around, desk w/computer for guests, nice eating area for breakfast. greeted in the lobby with huge beautiful dangling chandelier. request at booking had been granted to have room near elevator. very importantly, the rooms were nice and clean even if on the small side for more than 2 people. one wall was even made of brick. nice touch. the breakfast on sunday morning was wonderful. seriously. for a hotel, the food was very delicious. biscuit, gravy, eggs, sausage, make your own waffles. they also had a variety of drinks-coffee, juices, milk, sodas even, and other items such as cereal, fruit, donuts, muffins. they actually have popcorn and sodas in the lobby daily from 530-10pm. the room: nice tile/marble feel floors in the entrance and vanity area. marble/granite look sink tops. mirrored closet for storage. ironing board and luggage rack to place your suitcases. good air conditioning. nice entertainment center which hid the microwave/frig. tv swiveled out and around. two sitting chairs. beds and pillows were very comfortable. they have indoor and outdoor pool. needed toothbrush because i forgot mine and it was given complimentary with no hassle. check out was smooth. bill left at door, all i had to do at check out is turn in my room key cards. they even have free gated parking. noise low, elevator slow, about 8-10 miles out from things we wanted to do. everyone's experience will be different but considering price and quality, this is a very nice place to stay.

  • Liked — pleasant atmosphere, cleanliness of rooms, breakfast
  • Disliked — waiting on elevator, having to hunt a cart

We had already booked this hotel through the internet prior to arrival because of all of the positive reviews found on this website. After flying in to Atlanta and having already spent the night at the Drury Inn there the night before, we already knew that we would like this hotel when we arrived in Nashville the next day. And we were not disappointed!

We spent 10 nights in Nashville and really enjoyed the stay at the Drury here. All the extras that Drury offers made this a very affordable hotel to stay at with the family. We really appreciated the hot breakfast, the free internet access, the free one hour long distance phone calls, the snacks and refreshments in the evening... just about everything. The hotel is great itself but all of the extras made it even more special!

The suite was very clean and spacious and we would especially recommend it for families with children. The suite like we had was excellent. The beds were also comfortable and we slept well.

The hotel is easily accessed and close to the I-40 interstate and we really liked the location because we could get quickly around to all parts of Nashville from here.

We would definately stay at this hotel if ever in Nashville again.

  • Liked — Location, cleanliness, price, all the free extras
  • Disliked — No complaints!

This was my first stay at a Drury hotel property and I was pleasantly surprised. This is a very family friendly hotel. The beds were super comfy and my daughter LOVED the indoor pool. The location was convenient to all activities.

We stayed here the night before our flight home. Couldn't be much closer to the airport.

Incredibly friendly staff, 3 free drinks plus snacks during happy hour in the hotel, bartender Kim is a sweetheart. Free hot breakfast is good and has lots of selection.

Cab to downtown was a flat $20 for 3 of us. Ordered pizza from Roma's, very good. Two room suite was big and clean.

Lost my wallet in the parking lot in a drunken stupor. Next morning when checking out, front desk staff pulled it out of the safe and returned it to me...with all the cash still in it. Very honest folks.

Great place, you really don't need to look any further.

We stayed at the Drury Inn on March 21 for one night. We arrived in Nashville around 3pm. There were two other people ahead of us in line, and only one person doing check-in, which I found strange at that time of day. It took about 15-20 minutes before we got checked in, although the woman at the desk was nice and helpful.

Our room was on the top floor of the hotel, and had 2 double beds. At no time did we feel unsafe entering the hotel through the back entrance. Even the parking lot requires a hotel key to get in and out.

The bathroom was clean, as was the room. The wireless Internet worked like a charm. Since the Drury is near I-40 and I-70, it is conveniently located, and there are many different restaurants and stores just a short distance away.

We did get free drink tickets, but since we weren't at the hotel between 5:30 and 7 (when free drinks are served), we didn't get any. My friend wanted to use the exercise room, but was saddened to find out it closed at 11pm. We didn't have the occasion to use the indoor pool/spa.

The free breakfast wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was ok. I had biscuits and gravy, a blueberry muffin, some Raisin Bran cereal, and apple juice. One of the hotel staff was constantly refilling things so that nothing ran out. There was also a place to cook your own waffles, but we didn't try it.

Checkout was a breeze, since we didn't even have to go to the front desk. Their express check-out let us put the bill right on the credit card from check-in.

Overall, a decent hotel for the price ($69/night).
