“Awesome rates”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

I stayed at a Drury Inn near Columbus, OH that was pretty.damn.nice, so on a one-nighter to Nashville I called Drury Inn and got a rate for 89 bucks (military). Although not as nice as the Ohio version, still a very good hotel. Free food and 3 free drinks between 1730-1900 (the best for pre-gaming). Asked the desk for a cab and very friendly lady called, not even 5 minutes wait. 25 bucks for 4 to downtown btw. Free parking on site and you have to have a key to enter the parking lot (criminals can still break into your car, they just wouldn't be able to drive it off the property). Had a king-sized bed, non-smoking as requested. Nice room. Had a quick free breakfast in the morning before we left. Will stay here again on next Nashville visit.

I stayed here instead of downtown because downtown hotels were running about $200 a night.

I was happy to see ho clean this was. The service was friendly at every conversation. We went here because the price was right. We didn't know until booking that there was free dinner until 7 pm. We arrived later but still got free popcorn which they made fresh for the kids with soft drinks until 10 pm. The kids enjoyed the heated indoor outdoor pool. It is always fun to swim indoors to outdoors in the cold (as long as the pool is warm and it was). We woke to a great breakfast. Plenty of food and yes real meat (sausage patties this morning). A great way to start the day.

Room Tip: We chose a two bed room rather than a two room suite for 5 people. I would pay the extra money next...

This place allows pets , is clean, and has reasonable rates. Has a small indoor pool but staff is friendly and helpful. Has extra for the kids such as popcorn and Pepsi. Enjoyed our stay. Family of three.

The only reason I'm not giving five stars is this hotel was quite busy and a bit too loud for my liking. However, I can find very little to complain about. Our check in was smooth, friendly and efficient. Although we were promised a quiet room in the back of the hotel, it was actually right above the pool. We turned our room fan on and it covered the noise easily, and the kids in the pool were out early anyway.

The room was a typical hotel room, providing all the basic amenities including a small refrigerator and microwave.

One of their best features is their "5:30 Kickback", offered every day. From 5:30 to 7:00 they have a light dinner buffet laid out in the breakfast area. This particular one included hot dogs, pasta, meatballs, salad, baked potatoes, soup, munches such as chips and cheese and pretzels, popcorn, sodas, and THREE free adult beverages per person! It was much nicer than I had anticipated, expecting only a very limited offering.

The breakfast was typical of most hotels' included breakfasts with eggs, waffles, cereals, etc., but quite adequate.

Fortunately I have a two-night stay reserved at the Phoenix airport Drury Inn for March, and I'm looking forward to that visit as well.

Room Tip: For quiet, ask for something away from the pool.

Convenient, decent size room, kids were able to swim in the pool. We missed the dinner/snacks as we got in late but breakfast was good and my husband appreciated the actual meat on the buffet (unlike Comfort Suites who said the meat was in the gravy!).

Room Tip: they have nonsmoking floors so that was nice. a room away from the lobby area prob the best choice.

We just completed a stay at this Drury Inn. We have been here a few other times and all are good experiences.

Pros:
Great Kickback (snacks and drinks)-- It was plenty for supper!
Nice Breakfast
Good Snacks
Adequate Fitness Room
Friendly Staff
Overall Clean Room

Cons:
Didn't seem to have enough staff to keep the common areas clean at all.--tables dirty, food on the walking area/floor, no cups for drinks..
Hotel rooms seem a little dated
Double Beds
While checking the beds (to make sure no bed bugs), noted the mattresses were from 2006. With the volume of people frequentiing this hotel, they probably need to be changed, especially since one was ripped.
Not enough towels/wash cloths in room
Hair in the shower.

There was also so many people here we were unable to utilize the pool and hot tub. It was like people soup!

Would we go back again? Yep It still is a good hotel :).

The Drury Inn was excellent. The room was so clean and the staff was very friendly and the bed was very comfy. The staff answered all my questions for me at check in with a smile. The beds were so comfortable that when we checked out I asked at the front desk who made the bedding. The girl at the desk went and found someone who knew who manufactured the bedding. this was over and above service. They had popcorn & pop out from about 3pm to 10pm and they had a "snack" service which included hotdogs, baked potatoes, nachos, salad, chili, pretzels and chips and drinks. The hot tub was wonderful and there was an indoor & outdoor pool. When we arrived there were 2 teenages in the outdoor tub. It was only about 40 degrees outside. It was very close to the airport and it was an easy on & off of I-40. The planes did not keep us awake. We travel with 2 labs and there was plenty of space to walk the dogs and several trash cans outside the building to deposit their deposits.

Room Tip: We were in room 202 which was at the balcony and overlooked the dining area.
