“Tried to stay positive”

As we entered into the hotel the staff are amazingly nice the front desk was very accommodating and a joy to talk to. But we were a little disturbed by the room and what we found as we entered and we saw a very large mark on the wall that represented a Mirror that was there at some point with three women in a room and one bathroom Mirror it was a little difficult but I could handle but it was what we found next. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting when we went to the bathroom not only did we see urine and pubic hair on the seat but lifting the lid there was feces all over the seat. We went to the front desk let the manager know what was going on he was very nice apologetic and ask if he could come to our room and clean it up, with 3women and after a 14hour drive we decided to take cleaning supplies and do it ourselves . Next morning in breakfast area Another Mess the staff stood around talking not wiping tables off not refilling(without guest asking for something) supplies. Thank god someone from front desk walking by and we ask what was going on with the help she spoke to someone and help stated to get things done. Be aware also you have to walk through the breakfast area which is dark at night to get to the cold indoor pool.

Sarah and Dorothy at the front desk were fabulous! We had planning problems and the girls were able to check us in early and provided us with great travel information! Beds were super soft, towels were white and well stocked. The iron was new and the board was new. Ice machine worked well and breakfast was top notch!!!

For the price this was a good and convenient hotel to stop at so we could experience Nashville for a night and get right back on the interstate in the morning with no fuss. They have a free shuttle service to downtown, but we encountered some confusion between the hotel and the shuttle service the night we were there. There was a biker rally with easily over 100 motorcycles staying at the hotel, and apparently they had rented out all three of the shuttle buses for the day/night. The front desk advised to get on the shuttle, but when we and another couple got on the shuttle, the driver gave us all a bit of a hard time and almost booted us from the shuttle since we were not part of the motorcycle club. Other than this mishap, our stay was decent. Our room was nice and spacious, and clean. The tv remote did not work, but the front desk sent up another one right away. Downtown Nashville was awesome!

This is a great choice to stay when you want to be close to EVERYTHING in Nashville! You can see the stadium and it's about 5 minutes to 2nd Street and the main drag. The hotel even has a free shuttle to downtown, you have to catch a cab back, BUT a cab to this hotel is only about $7!!!!!! Free breakfast in the morning with everything, cereal, eggs, waffles, danishes, donuts, muffins, sausage.....and more! The staff is fairly well.....no super stars but they get the job done.

Now the room......VERY NICE! You will raise your brow when walking in.... High quality furniture, all the amenities that one could be used to. Bed was VERY comfortable, didn't want to get out. Even a nice touch with an LED strip above the bed, but in a very classy way. Marble counters and tile in the bathroom. Great stay! PS....Pretty quiet too!

Room Tip: Get up as high as you can for floors, you will be able to see more from your window.

We stayed at the Clarion recently and enjoyed the stay. It is convenient to the entertainment area downtown with a short shuttle ride from the hotel and a cab ride back for only $7.50 for 3 people. The rooms were very nice since the renovation. The breakfast was more than most hotels with tasty eggs, sausage, potatoes, and waffles. They do need more help at the front desk, as there was only one person at the front desk whenever we went by and several times there was a line of checkins. Al in all, a nice stay.

the price on this hotel can be good, and I landed it through Hotwire.com. If the hotel was closer to downtown, or if the service was better as there was only one working person at several times, I might stay here again. The bed was hard, the towels were ok, but nothing was fantastic. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, but if you're celiac or trying to stay away from gluten, your options are limited. You can tell they have renovated but they need to change other things too in order to be successful. If you're not picky and will have a car or don't mind cabbing or waiting for the hourly shuttle, then this place would probably work for you.

Forget looking at the old reviews of the Hotel. Stayed this weekend for the Brewers Festival downtown and had a great experience. The front desk staff was cordial and helpful (unlike older reviews). The room was very well furnished and comfortable. The lobby was nice, but the bar was still unopened. They stated a few more weeks and it would be up and running. Compared to the other Nashville hotels, the price is very reasonable. as to the location, it is not downtown. It is however 1 mile from Broadway. My son and i walked to and from the downtown area and did not feel threatened at all by the area. If it had been my wife and I, probably would have taken a cab after dark just due to the brief walk through the industrial area. Daytime, no issue even with her. The hotel runs a free shuttle on the hour to downtown, but stops running at 8:00PM on returns. However, cabs and Uber are CHEAP... Recommend for a cheaper trip to Nashville if a budget trip is desired... AGAIN, forget the old reviews... It has changed!
