The staff was super and all of the employees were very helpful in every way. The Shuttle drivers was extremely courteous and helpful. The double queen size beds were very comfortable. Plus were able to leave our car there while we were on a trip this was a great help. Thanks for all you do and have done for us over the years!!!'!

After a very long day traveling across the country. I fell into bed and slept through the night. The first thing I noticed in the morning was a sore back partly from the long day of travel but mostly from the mattress that was too soft. When I got in the shower a stream of black water came from under my feet. It had to have come from the carpet in hotel room as my shoes had been on frm home until I got to the hotel the night before. Yuck!

I was quite disappointed by this review though I appreciate the feedback from this guest. We routinely shampoo our guest room carpets, as required by Holiday Inn Express, and the carpet is vacuumed everyday, so I have a hard time understanding this review. I can only offer my sincere apologies and please know that we will review this issue with the Housekeeping staff. We hope we will be afforded an opportunity to redeem ourselves when you return to Nashville for your next visit.

The hotel staff are super friendly, very accommodating. The breakfast that is complementary is always good. I know b/c I have stayed at least 5 different times. What I like most about the hotel is that the beds are soooooo comfortable, at least in the king rooms. The hotel has a continuous shuttle service to and from the airport. If you are looking for a place to stay while in Nashville, it is not near the downtown area, but it is a great quick stop. Be aware that the downtown area is expensive to get to from the airport area. A taxi will cost $25 to and from the hotel to downtown and if you have your own car, the parking in the downtown area is also $25.00 for 6 hours. If you are staying in Nashville for the first time, consider a hotel in the downtown area to avoid these extra costs. If downtown is not what you are looking for, then it's a great choice. BTW there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Our hotel is definitely an economical alternative to staying downtown and with the price of rooms at the downtown hotels, the $25 cab fare each way is still a considerable savings. Our group of 5 seniors (2 American, 3 British) stayed here in 2 rooms on Mother's Day, as we had a very early transatlantic flight out the following morning. We could not have been more pleased with the hotel and its very helpful staff. We had booked several months in advance, and were assigned rooms on the ground floor as requested. The rooms were spotless, and all appreciated the extra-soft pillows. After checking out the next morning, we took the free shuttle bus (no waiting at all) to the airport, only to discover that our flight had been cancelled (!). We were re-booked on a flight the following day (Tuesday). We rang the hotel and explained our situation ,and asked if they had 2 rooms available for that night. The desk clerk was so nice. We even got our "old" rooms back! He sent the shuttle to the airport to pick us up, and we all enjoyed breakfast upon returning (we had left at 5 am anticipating grabbing something to eat at the airport). We especially liked the pancake maker - no effort required at all. The desk clerk also arranged a Nashville tour for us after we had inquired after reading a brochure at the entrance area. We thoroughly enjoyed our "unplanned" day in Nashville. We would certainly stay here again.

Stayed in this hotel on a park and fly package on june the 20th 2014. Hotel looked clean and room was very cold. Got into bed that night and my wife said something bit her so we took off the covers and found 4 bed bugs. Ended up not sleeping any at all. Couldn't change rooms because the hotel was sold out. Gave it 3 stars because the shuttle pick up was excellent.

We always appreciate hearing from our guests, but this review is not a fair, or accurate portrayal of our hotel. We take all concerns of bed bugs very seriously and yet this is the first time we have heard of this issue. If this reviewer genuinely believed that there were bed bugs in the room, the responsible thing to do would have been to communicate these concerns to the Front Desk immediately. Then we could have taken this room out of service and performed a complete inspection of the room. Posting this information on TripAdvisor a week after your visit allows this potential problem to get worse, and effect others. For the record. there was enough information on your posting to conclude what room this reviewer stayed in and upon inspection of this room, no bed bugs were found. Our Housekeeping and Engineering staff have all been trained on what to look for when looking for bed bugs. Regardless, I would like to discuss this matter further with this guest offline so we can ensure that we inspected the correct room. Please feel free to call me at (615) 883-1366.

We stayed at this hotel during the 2014 cma festival. The hotel lobby was nice. The staff was friendly. The few problems we had was the cable would cut out a lot. It was like we had satellite with bad service. The only other problem we had was not the hotels fault. We called about the problem with the TV, we requested to have the problem fixed. It wasn't because the guy that we talked to, walked out and quit. Not the hotels fault, but my luck.
The breakfast was actually not that bad. It was a full hot breakfast along with the cold items. It was good. This hotel seems to be a better choice for people traveling for business. I would say a lower end family hotel, but a higher end business hotel.
We were happy with the services they offered and we might go there again. A few issues but nothing that bad.

Room Tip: King size room is nice.

Additionally, we have not had anyone "walk-off" the job as you mentioned. Checked-in to the hotel on Sunday evening. Check-in was quick. Room was clean, beds were comfortable as were the pillows. room faced the rear parking lot which was nice because no traffic noise. Breakfast in the morning started at 6:30am and had the basics which was very good. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Room on the 2nd floor was near a vending machine and ice maker. All was quite until Thursday night when a group of people came back from the Music Festival making a lot of noise and using the ice machine at 2:00am. But, in a few minutes all went back to normal. Overall, this was a very nice hotel stay for the week.
