“A little loud, but great food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2014

Me and my wife walked into a very noisy restaurant, and nearly walked out. We were seated by the bar, and had people standing by our table, which I didn't care for too much. I am glad that we didn't walk out.

We were greeted and given a table very quickly (we had reservations, but often, a person still has to wait ), and were seated by the bar. Our server was professional, and our food was delicious! I got the ribs, and my wife ordered the half-chicken, and both meals were tremendous. We'll definitely revisit, and next time, were binging our family with us. We just will request a seat away from the bar.

“Good food, but busy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2014

The restaurant is quite busy, with live music in the evening there can be quite a crowd. The food is good, and freshly prepared, but much of the menu is fried, so if you're concerned about having too much fried food, this isn't the place for you. Even the brownie served with ice cream for desert is fried. The barbeque pork and chicken are served Memphis style, and are good. The fried string beans (or green beans, depending on what part of the country you're from) are quite good. As long as you don't mind fried food, this is a great place for casual dining.

“Best meal ever! ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2014

This is a casual dining place with down home southern cooking. The menu changes daily so you may want to check their website. There are lots of vegetables and southern meats. I recommend the Memphis style BBQ! Everything is made from scratch. You can tell nothing is heat and eat Sysco food here. Hands down the best meal I've ever eaten!

“If you have business in Downtown, here's a great spot for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

This location has just opened recently. It's packed with people but then the reason is it has great food and quick service. Lots of good down home cookin' items on the menu and daily specials. Bound to find something you like.

“Very disappointing.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014

For starters, they cram way too many tables into this place. It is difficult to simply get to your table and back out, and when you're seated you're jammed up to the person sitting behind you. And the place is incredibly noisy--I mean REALLY loud! You can forget about having a conversation while you're there. And on top of that, the food is mediocre, at best. I had a ham and Macaroni and Cheese dish that was much too salty, although I have to admit the salad and dessert were OK. But even if the food were terrific, it would not be worth going simply because sitting in the place is so unpleasant. Won't go back.
