“Excellent atmosphere, music, service and food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2014

The fish and chips were amazing. The shepherds pie was amazing. the French dip was above average and their curry chicken was really good. For desserts we had the baileys Irish cream cheesecake and the bread pudding - both were delicious. Great beer and whiskey selection. Pricing was a little higher than a standard night out for us, but it was well worth it. We will be back and soon.

“great time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014 via mobile

If you love Irish everything this is your place. Live irish music, shepards pie, kettle chips, and of course Jammison whiskey.

little expensive on the drinks but the food was so worth it. Great service, atmosphere and people.

“Fun night out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2014

It's a little out of the way, but I really wanted to hear some Trad. The musicians were great, the service was great, the food was... ok. Not bad, but not great. Carrots and parsnips boiled, not roasted, vinegar-y cabbage, and no lamb in the Irish stew or shepherd's pie. But it did have a nice family atmosphere. I would recommend it.

“Always a good time.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2014

This is an authentic Irish Pub in Nashville, TN. The East side of town was in dire need of culture so we were excited to get McNamara's! I've had the corned beef which is good but can be dry on occasion. The Shepherds Pie is always excellent. So are the fish and chips, the steak biscuits and the scotch eggs. The Nosey Flynn band is led by the owner of the restaurant, Sean McNamara. They play some great audience participation songs but they can be very loud so, while the music room is the best place to be, try to get a seat in the back of the room or you won't be able to talk to your friends. Highly recommend if you're a local or if you're here on business. It's about 5 minutes from the airport hotels.
