“Nashville Sophistication”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

I spent one night at the Indigo on business. I was on the 7th floor. Blessedly quiet. Loved the non-carpeted floor; it seemed so much cleaner. Wonderful bed, great towels. My organization had a catered dinner that was delicious. Stay here, people!

Room Tip: You are downtown in a big city; rooms on higher floors are therefore more quiet.

Hello PainAuChocolat17 from Nashville! Wow, thank you for the kind review, we sincerely appreciate it! You know, I love that our rooms don’t have carpet, its such a departure from the “norm”, and that’s really what Hotel Indigo is about. I am thrilled to hear you had a wonderful stay, delicious catered dinner, and of course most importantly.. a quiet room. We are certainly looking forward to seeing you again in the future, take care and safe travels.- Kim

My husband and I stayed here during one of his business conferences. I had stayed here years ago before the remodel so it was nice to see the updated changes. I called to ask about one of the specials a few days before I arrived and spoke with Trayvon on the phone. When we checked in and the guy was getting our information, Trayvon recognized my voice from the phone and came over to speak ! I was beyond impressed. What great customer service. Everyone at the front desk had a pleasant attitude. I spoke with Pam at the front desk as well a couple of days and she was also very helpful in me trying to find an ATM. I had breakfast and lunch a few days in their restaurant and everything seemed pretty tasty to me. The Sunday buffet was really tasty and had a variety of options. Our room was nice. The only small complaint I had was that it felt damp in the room sometimes and I don't know if it was because of the air conditioning unit or just because the building was a little older. Overall we had a pleasant experience and would look to stay here again.

Greetins Nickleberry from the Hotel Indigo Nashville! Thank you kindly for your review, it sounds as though you had a great stay with us. I consider myself very lucky to have the staff we do here at the Indigo. Pam and Treyvon are just one of many. I am also delighted to hear you enjoyed our restaurant- The District. I can say I have tried just about everything on the menu, and I am left wanting more each time. Thanks again for taking the time to review our property, we certainly can’t wait to welcome you back to Nashville! Safe travels, Kim-General Manager

Nashville is a great example of Southern charm at it's best! A prime example was our combination waiter/bartender/tour guide, John, at the Hotel Indigo. It seemed as if he would do anything to make our stay as good as possible, from making great Bloody Mary's at breakfast to cheerfully getting fresh eggs, to recommending the best venues to explore. Thanks Johnny!

The hotel itself was quiet, clean and well-designed; in addition to being well-situated to enjoy easy walking distance to all the hot spots. If you can't have a good time here, you can't have a good time!

Room Tip: Ask for quiet room

My husband and I met friends for brunch before a titans game. John our server was most excellent. He made us feel more than welcome. He makes the best Bloody Mary I have ever had. I highly recommend planning a trip to Indigo hotel on Union Street for a great brunch. Be sure to ask for John.

Well, howdy neighbor! Thank you DebP for the kind review, isn’t John the best? Nothing beats a bloody mary on a Sunday morning.. well, a bloody mary followed by a Titans game can certainly top that! So happy to hear the locals are discovering our brunch, make sure to come around after the game, the fried chicken will change your life! Can’t wait to see you next Sunday, Go Titans!

This was very close to downtown. We walked back and forth from the hotel about twice a day and our stay was four days long. Very clean and updated, but great touches to the building's history. The staff was always friendly and willing to help. I would absolutely stay here again. I had read good and bad reviews, but I have nothing bad to say about it at all! Also, the staff had great advice for places to eat.

Four girlfriends (50ish) went to Nashville and stayed at the Hotel Indigo for the weekend. Pros: Perfect location to TPAC (TN Performing Arts Center) where we saw "Jersey Boys." Short walks also to The Hermitage where we had a fabulous dinner inside at the Capitol Grill, to Broadway Street where everything is happening, to Wild Horse Saloon (you can take some line dancing classes) and to the Big Bang - a fun dueling piano bar. We had a wonderful breakfast at 417 Union just a block up from the hotel. The valet guys had our car to us in about 2 minutes.

Cons: Only 3 towels each day for a room of 4 adults--had to call each day to get more, ice machine on alternating floors, no mini fridge, a/c was a little quirky.

Suggestions: Why can't all hotels have lighted makeup mirrors, extra mirror over a desk and more than 1 luggage rack in a room that sleeps 4?

We would stay at Hotel Indigo again for the price and location.

Room Tip: We were on the 4th floor and could hear some traffic, not bad, but a little higher up might have bee...
