“Good location and a modern classic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2011

Very nice hotel in a beautiful old building renovated not a long ago. Rooms are big and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge, clean and modern.
They also provide you with free wifi. It is located close to Broadway Av. and Capitol building.
The staff is very nice and the restaurant is quite good. They even have live music.
The hotel is quiet, but you can hear traffic and a train/ship horn during the night so if you don't sleep well bring some earplugs.

i won't give the Hotel a bad rating, because I just dropped in to hear some friends play songs in the lobby. However, I ordered the Chicken Panini, and it was a mistake. Oily and burnt, I suspect the grill hadn't been cleaned in a while.

We stayed one night in the Hotel Indigo, Nashville. The hotel is wonderful. It is an old building that has been remodeled. All new and clean. Loved the shower in our room. Huge and great water pressure. The employees at the bar were awesome. Great friendly service. Another bonus, live music and full breakfast, lunch and dinner menus in the hotel bar/restaurant. If you choose to stay in it is all right there. If you want to get out and see Nashville Printers Alley is right out the back door and 2nd Ave is about a 5 minute walk down hill. So much to do and see. Also, LOVED the fact that Starbucks is right downstairs in the hotel. I did hear a little bit of noise from the New Orleans Saints fans that were in town, but nothing that kept me up.

Conveniently located - just a few blocks north of Broadway and all the honky tonks. It's clean, bright, and doesn't feel too noisy or crowded because guests are in two towers with multiple exits. There's also a Starbucks on the ground floor which was a big plus. Only downside was no bathtub, only a shower. And no mirrors in the room, which makes it hard for one person to put on makeup while the other is in the shower. Also the heating-cooling unit fan is very loud so don't set the fan on automatic, keep it off.

Stayed here with my husband for 2 nights. Great downtown location, hotel is clean. It's an older building with high ceilings (looks like it may have been a bank), so it has a little more character (if maybe fewer amenities) than some of the newer hotels. There is no concierge, although the woman at the front desk was able to answer all my questions. Free hi-speed internet. Excellent breakfast spot a half block away (417 Union), much better than the pancake place we trekked out to the day before. We asked for a high floor based on other reviews about noise, and had no issues. If you don't have a car, they will get a cab for you, but the hotel is also very close to the MCC bus terminal, so this was convenient for us as well. There are about a dozen downtown hotels; all are walking distance to Broadway; we chose this one because the price was a little lower than the others. Would stay here again.

Clean, big, nice rooms! No complaints and staff war friendly. Location was perfect for us wanting to enjoy the nightlife and NFL game on SundY.
