If you are a history buff like I am, then the Tennessee State Capitol is a must see. It sit high on a hill in downtown Nashville, so if you visit during the week, parking will be a problem, but I visited on a Saturday and was able to Park near the Centenniel Mall and take in both the Very Informative Mall before making my way up the hill to the Capitol. While touring the Capitol grounds you will see the Statues of Presidents Andrew Jackson and Andrew Johnson, both were residents of Tennessee. Also President James K. Polk and his Wife are buried on the capitol grounds. I enjoyed my visit and would like to return and tour the interior of this historic building
