“Gradually growing area”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

After the flood about 4+ years ago, Nashville is growing especially in the downtown area. It is not as active as a Chicago or New York BUT more like Atlanta and Birmingham...gradually. It is NOT just country music but a nice variety of various shows, and other attractions.

“Pick Your Music-Have a Great Time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Its all on lower Broadway and the surrounding areas in The Gulch and 12 South Neighborhoods. Fantastic, clean and safer than most cities. Parking rates vary but it depends on how far you want to walk.....$2 at some lots 5-6 blocks from the action to $10 for 2 hours or $15 for 6 hours 1 block away when there are no special events in town. Has become a big destination for Bacheolorette and Bachelor parties. Its refreshing to see clean well dressed crowds who conduct themselves in an orderly manner-even during the huge CMA fest.

“Honkey Tonkin capital!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Best country music you will ever hear for the price of a beer. You'll wonder why every band you hear hasn't made it to the big time. Can't drink on the street, but if u drink a cold one in each stop. . . You'll have plenty. I love downtown Music City!

You can find a good show almost every night somewhere in Nashville.

jax BBQ. Delicious. Pickets Grocery best menus in town.
Try Legend's Bar, Next door to Tootsie's (a must go place)

“Big city hugged by music”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

You think of Nashville as a smaller southern town but it is anything but that. Lots of traffic, highrises, wonderful places to eat and many tourist attractions to keep you busy. There is music everywhere. It is just a fun place to visit. Make sure to visit less promoted places like the Pantheon, Cheekwood gardens and the Nashville Zoo, Cumberland Science Museum. Nashville is just a good all around city.

“Downtown Nashville--An American Experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Downtown Nashville has much to offer for everyone in your family. The honky tonk bars, Broadway at 5th, offer excellent music for the price of a drink and a dollar in the tip hat. The Ryman at 5th and Broadway is a temple to country music as is the CM Hall of Fame on 4th and Demonbruen. For the kids, walk down to 1st Avenue and see Fort Nashboro where an epic of American history was lived during the Revolutionary War. Then walk down 1st to the Shelby Street pedestrian bridge for a great Nashville view and a perfect place for the kids to run in the park near Titan Stadium. Hungry? Try the Arcade between 4th and 5th for many good and inexpensive food choices.
