We got this hotel on Priceline, so we were prepared for the worst. It wasn't as bad as the other experiences people expressed on TripAdvisor.
The room was large, and although it appeared to be clean, my husband had issues with cleanliness.
The hotel is definitely run down and outdated to some extent.
The elevators were not working, but some guy was running around like crazy trying to fix them and be helpful to people who were trying to get up to their rooms.
People kept asking us if we were "distressed travelers" so we finally asked the server at the restaurant what that meant. She told us that many people were at their hotel because their flights had been cancelled due to weather. We were not there for that reason, but it made us think that they don't have much business if they assume everyone is there not by their own choice but at the need of a place near the airport in an emergency situation.
The water was hot, the towels were clean, and our bed was comfortable and appeared to be clean. Our room would have been quiet I think, except for the tornadoes that were coming through that area. At $67.08 (priceline bid of $50 plus taxes and fees) I would stay again, but wouldn't want to have paid much more.

Since we had a late flight into Nashville, we decided to book this hotel in lieu of driving while tired. The room was very clean and spacious. The only negatives we found were other guests slamming the doors and the airplane noise (which can be expected from an airport hotel). The bed was very comfortable!

We may have just had bad luck but our sheet was stained with what we hope was chocolate syrup. The front desk was very friendly and helpful and both stars go to them. It was the second time we had gone back to the front desk. The first was to ask for working lightbulbs. There were two working lights in the room. None of the others worked. We stayed at a low occupancy time as we saw very few other guests. We were the only ones at the managers "Happy hour", and the only ones in the dining room. At 12:30 AM a man came to the door, woke us up and had a pizza in hand. After getting back in bed the phone rang and the front dest person ask if we had ordered a 'bodyfiller'. We didn't know what it was, hadn't ordered it and didn't need to be awakened. It did show that at least one other room was occupied. The carpets are getting that deep dirty look that much use and age gives. If there is one thing that drove this review to the bottom it is the dirty sheets. That is not allowed in a hotel! The positive stars go to the day time front desk. (Night time front desk need to figure out older senior citizens don't usually order heavy pizzas at 12 midnight.) The meal that was good, not excellent but good and priced accordingly.

The hotel has a very nice entrance and friendly staff. Once in our room we found that they offer several complementary room enhancements as well as some pay items. Some things are quirky while others are a nice gesture. We called the front desk late after reading over the enhancements and got a Lava Lamp and Pet Fish delivered to the room even though House Keeping's shift was ending.

Aside from the boutique part of the hotel the rooms were decent. Nothing special with the standard King room other than the over-sized headboard decoration and red glass lamps at the bedside. Did not come with a mini-fridge. There are three pillow options and I would recommend you try them all since some of them can end up flat when you lay down.

Not a bad stay overall.

I have stayed here twice while visiting relatives in Nashville.

The great: I love their signature red velvet cake. They also make a fine margarita
The good: Only ate at the restaurant once, everything other than the cake was good.
The not so good: Service in the restaurant was a little slow. The hotel common areas and stairwells (I take the stairs sometimes) need some work. Parking was a challenge one night on my second visit due to some group staying at the hotel. Otherwise no parking or traffic issues. Water pressure on the 11th floor varied a lot while showering. It seemed be both hot and cold so no temperature swings but still a bit annoying.

Other:
The fitness center is hoo hum, but my second visit I was able to go for a run around an adjacent residential area with lots of hills. And the price on my second trip was steep on the first night, again probably due to the group.

Even being outside the loop, this spot is great value hotel. Great staff and good food plus the location by the airport .
Make this my favorite overall place in Nashville.Twenty minutes from Downtown.

We were headed to the airport and decided to go a day early. Chose this hotel for great location but ended up loving the hotel for so many more reasons. The staff was great. Everyone we met had a smile on their face and they were so pleasant. The accommodations were fantastic. The room was super clean and fresh. I would highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to stay their again.
