“Great Place; Good Price .. Fantastic Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2008

What a fantastic hotel. After reading all the reviews currently posted, I decided to book at the Alexis Inn. Check-in was a breeze. The staff was extremely helpful.

The room was a good size and very clean. The king size bed was very comfortable. In fact, the furnishings were as nice as any major brands standard room. The bathroom was a little dated, but very clean.

Breakfast was okay. Had eggs one morning and to be honest, one day was enough. Not bad, but not great. Best bet.. make yourself a waffle. Lots of juices, coffee, milke, cereal, oatmeal, coffee cake and muffins.

I had a rental car for the majority of this trip. The property is located off the 155 parkway. It's easy to hop on and off to get around Nashville. The location was very convenient and quiet and parking is free.

The last day, I returned the rental car and used their contracted airport shuttle service to return to the hotel and back to the airport the next morning.. the drivers were on time and the service is very reliable.

I highly this recommend this hotel. At $59 a night, it's a steal!

This was our first driving trip to Nashville. Alexis was very convenient to find and to reach our destinations from this motel. Also, we enjoyed the Grayline Bus Tours which picked us up at the front door twice. The rooms are quite stylish, very clean, comfortable King bed with a refrigerator in the room. People at check in and check out were very friendly. Our room rate was $59 booked online through the motel's web site. We stayed 3 nights. It is a very busy place so get to breakfast early. They didn't run out of food ever, but the tables were always full. Very clean, well kept, enjoyed our stay.

  • Liked — The price and convenience to places of interest.
  • Disliked — No pool, no pets.

Great hotel!. The location is close to the airport. It was clean and the rooms were large. The continental breakfast was fantastic - wide variety of selections. I would recommend the hotel to anyone and would stay there again.

The room was only $71 with taxes and included a small kitchenette and two queen beds. The room looked just like a room that cost $100! The air conditioner took a little while to cool the room off but it did stay cold. The Wi-Fi worked great with my laptop and the room was quiet as well as the hallway. The iron didn't work in the room but they supplied a brand new one immediately. Breakfast was great and we also got a late check out which was very helpful! I booked it the day before which was a good thing because the parking lot was packed by the evening of our stay. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!!!

I was attending a conference at the Nashville Art Institute Culinary School and did not want to pay an outrageous price to spend the night. I was leaving early in the morning so I would have little time except to sleep. The room was lovely and very clean. Breakfast was more than adequate. My husband and I agree that we would enjoy staying here again when we could actually spend time in the room which offers a nice mini kitchen. The location is good for the Opryland area and we were pleased with the rate.

My family and I traveled to Nashville for their fabulous 4th of July Celebration. This year, I was fortunate enough to find the Alexis Inn for our stay. We were there 3 nights and will definitely stay there again. Upon driving up to the hotel, it looks exactly like the photo on the website. The front desk staff was very friendly, even though we arrived late. Having a happy attendant at 10:30pm, after driving for 13 hours was a pleasant change of pace. We were given a room on the bottom floor, just a short walk from the main lobby. When we entered our room, we were surprised with a kitchenette room. I had reserved 2 queen beds. The room had a large sink area just inside the door, a dresser/cabinet that held the TV, a desk and chair, a reading/relaxing chair and ottoman, and a large kitchen area complete with microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, sink, cabinets and small table and chairs. Everything was clean and well maintained. The beds were quite firm, but plenty of pillows and bedding. They also offered free internet, and we had no problem connecting. We did not hear outside noises from hall or the parking lot, and even though this hotel is near the airport, we did not hear any overhead planes.

The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast which included eggs, biscuits, sausage, sausage gravy, english muffins, fresh waffles, muffins, cereal, juice and coffee. We saved dining money by eating at the hotel every morning. They also had a business center in case you needed to attend to something online.

We had a very nice experience and will definitely stay here again.

  • Liked — The size of the room, and the ammenities.
  • Disliked — Not enough towels when we first got there.

We went to Nashville for just an overnight stay - I have a young toddler who was over-tired after our visit to the zoo. We showed up 2 hours before check-in time just to find out directions since we were on our way by and they offered to let us check in early! Things looked very nice - the elevator wasn't as updated as the rest of things but it still worked and was relatively quiet. We were on the fourth floor - they put us in a room with a kitchenette (which we didn't request so it was a big surprise!) and the manager at the front told me that was standard to try to put people in the nicer rooms if they had them available at no charge. The business center (two desktop computers) were easy to use and free of charge - a great thing for someone without a laptop like myself. The front desk person was very helpful in directing us to somewhere to eat & the nearest Target. We had no troubles out of the room other than the shower wasn't very forceful at all, but that wasn't bad. The breakfast was simple - biscuits, eggs, sausage, gravy, muffins, pound cake, plenty of bread, bagels and such, along with coffee, 2 kinds of juice, water and a make your own waffle station.

All in all - great experience. We were very impressed - for the price we had a hot breakfast and a comfy room - very very pleased.
