“Big convention hotel in good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

Typical big convention hotel. Right across street from Bridgestone Arena. Only one block to Broadway and all the bars and nightclubs.
I stayed in a king suite on the first floor above the lobby. Nicely furnished but I thought the lighting was rather poor. A little dated, wallpaper in bathroom was peeling slightly but overall a very nice and comfortable room. Standard-sized bathtub/shower.
Huge lobby with an bar and separate open-air restaurant. I had breakfast the one morning I was there. Big buffet with omelet bar. Price $10-25. I stayed on a Sunday night and the place was deathly quiet. Front desk personnel very pleasant.
No free Wi-Fi was bummer. They have Wi-Fi but it is free only to Hilton Honors Gold members, which I am not. Also, when I tried to use my Verizon hotspot, it did not work. Did Hilton block it somehow? I had to go downstairs and use the computer in their biz center for what work I had to do.
Valet parking was $28 with in-out privileges.

Great clean hotel, nice staff, perfect location. Been several times in the last year. Never had a problem with noise from the honky tonks, but if a light sleeper I would suggest away from broadway. Plenty of space for a family. Good sports bar downstairs and a food breakfast buffet.

The hotel is just a block off the center of everything in Downtown. It has a massive lobby and I was struck by how quite it was, or maybe I was just deaf from the 300 bands in 4 square blocks! It's nice to come back to that after a loud night in town. Rooms are nice, but just a bit dated. It's worth the stay just for the location. Parking is about $25/night.

Oh - and there was a homeless guy sleeping on the front lawn.

We drove in from Disney World on our way to Chicago and had booked at another hotel with points just for the night. That hotel sold our room due to late arrival. Due to a concert downtown every hotel was sold out. We were able to get a room at the Hilton for $349 for one night! Yes, but due to travelling with 2 small ones we needed to rest. Heather took very good care of us. The hotels location is right in the heart of downtown behind the honky tonk area. It was a zoo outside but we were able to order room service late. Great clean hotel, staff excellent, location was the best. Made myself a HHonors member now so good bye IHG Rewards.

The hotel is being updated, so the worn furniture wasn't a surprise. The beds were not as comfortable as we expected. The noise from bars was VERY noisy into late evening - don't try to get to sleep very early. Otherwise, a good location if you want to be in downtown.

Three generations of our family had a wonderful evening in the city of our residence by coming to your facility. The staff made the event very satisfactory and refreshing. We look forward to observing the July 4th celebration in our home area, but near the main events. It saves us from having to commute during the most heavily congested time to and from our homes. Grandparents, parents and children had a delightful time. We have returned because of the location and the excellent service.

If you're looking for a hotel steps away from music row, this is the place for you. All the country bars & shops & touristy destinations are literally around the corner from the hotel. The front desk staff were super helpful and even provided a map to point out cool places to check out.

The hotel itself was great, the lobby area was huge, and there was a bar, restaurant, and gift shop inside. Our room was a suite with a tv in the living room and bedroom. Cleanliness was at the level of immaculate. It's not the cheapest hotel in Nashville, but well worth the extra $.

The only drag was the parking. Since the hotel is located downtown, you're pretty much forced to park in the garage (which isn't owned by the hotel). The parking is hourly (with a $20 daily max) and you have to pay each time in/out. Valet is available for $28/day. I would recommend the valet, because we ended up spending $30 going in and out anyway.
