“Great location great decor!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012 via mobile

Reserved a suite for my Sister's bachelorette. Was a great meeting space and very close to broadway strip ( one block). Fabulous decor and very comfortable clean room. Parking was a little pricey but hotel parking always is valet $26, self pay lot across street $20. Def recommend!

This hotel does the best job of combining luxury and location. Union Station and The Hermitage beat this hotel in luxury feel but this hotel has an amazing location. They both have good locations. This has a perfect location. The heart of downtown is at your doorstep. You can go from your room to sitting in a famous honky tonk with a beer in your hand within ten minutes....maybe even less. Ten minutes assumes service getting the beer was a little slow.

The rooms are suites with bedroom separate from the living room. The suites include a microwave and small frig. The room is perfect if you are travelling with children or a companion with a different sleeping pattern. If you are travelling solo, it may not be worth the extra cost. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. Another reviewer found them dated. I didn't think so. We stayed here with a visiting adult child and it was great to have the separate room.

Breakfast is a little pricey. If you are Gold Honors member they allow you to upgrade from the continental to a full breakfast for $6. If you are not Gold then breakfast seemed ridiculously expensive and I would head down the street. Pucketts is a pretty short walk and has fabulous breakfast for much less. There is a hill, but it works off breakfast and the Bloody Mary's are worth it!

Typically, this hotel is pricier than it's nearby neighbors. If you really want a romantic venue, then for around the same price you can generally find Union Station which is a few blocks away. If you want ideal, perfect, location with a little extra room, that is still much nicer than the competition then pick this spot.

Just got back from a fabulous 5 day vacation with sister and niece. Having seen and done everything Nashville has to offer, I can say without a doubt the Hilton Downtown is the place to stay! The hotel is gorgeous, the location is perfect for all your sightseeing excursions, and the staff goes out of their way to please you. Make sure you hook up with Joe Mack Treas, the concierge, you will not be disappointed with any advice and assistance he gives you when planning all your sightseeing trips, places to dins, places to be and be seen! Trust me, he is the best. Also, check out Jessica when you're in the mood to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner. You won't find a better server anywhere in Nashville. Both of them will only make your stay even better than you imagined it would be.

If location is important to you, this hotel is perfect. However, there are much nicer hotels in Nashville to stay in. The rooms are dated to say the least. Our room had several large, black scuff marks on the walls and doors. The carpet was torn and pulled back in the bedroom. I found a silverfish on one of the towels. The sink basin was cracked as was the tub For the price, I would recommend the Opryland Hotel, the Music City Sheraton, or the Marriott. They are on the east side of Nashville, but are excellent hotels.

We chose the Hilton Nashville Downtown for our 1-night stay in mid-August based upon the fact that we are HHonors Gold members and that the reviews here on TripAdvisor were very highly-ranked. The hotel is in a GREAT location only 1/2 block off Broadway located next to the Symphony Hall and walking distance to everything in downtown Nashville. Upon check-in, we valeted our rental (for $26, average for downtown hotel) and proceeded to check-in. The service was great and welcoming and we were shortly on our way to our room. We arrived in our room (731) to find it nicely appointed with 2 Double (maybe Queen, can't remember) and a seperate living room (very similar to a Embassy Suites, especially with open-air atrium). The room was spotless and smelled fresh. However, if you are a light sleeper, request a room away from Broadway as the Honky Tonks play into all hours of the evening. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed the special treats not in all Breakfast Buffets at all Hiltons and the service was great as well. We didn't have the opportunity to try out the other restaurants, the fitness center, or the pool but they looked nice. We paid $239 for our room and found the value of the room reasonable considering the location of the hotel and the size of the room. If in Nashville again, we would stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay in front of hotel as they are quieter (away from Broadway).

I have stayed at this hotel while on business in Nashville for each the past 5 years. Each stay averages around 3 to 4 weeks so I get to see how this hotel really functions. Apart from the convenient location the staff at this hotel provide consistent service and service with a smile. My every need seems to be anticipated from Chad down and on my return each evening I am always welcomed back by name. I stay on the HHonors floor (7th) and my room overlooks the park and there is always someting interesting going on - a recent weekend saw a Beer Festival. The rooms are always turned out to a consistent high standard and they provide a quiet oasis away from the frenetic pace of Broadway.

Room Tip: Overlooking the park

Way over priced. Great location. The location is what you pay for. The room was very small and outdated. We had a room that overlooked the lobby. Was not happy about that. Had to keep curtains closed the whole time or everybody on the elevators and hallway could see right in. I will never pay that kind of money to stay there again.
