“great facility in a great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

This all suite hotel is in a great location. It is across a small park from the Country Music Hall of Fame, adjacent to the Arena and 1 block from Broadway the main "music venue" street. The suites are wonderful, clean and well appointed with 2 flat screen TV's in the separate living room and in the bedroom. The hotel offers a sport's bar, is directly adjacent to The Palm Restaurant ( outstanding NY Steak House ) and has a dining venue and bar in the lobby. Simply put it is a great facility in a can't beat location in Nashville.

Room Tip: face the Country Music Hall of Fame

I booked 2 rooms at the Downtown Nashville to celebrate my friend's bachelorette party. Location is definitely the best in Nashville -- we could walk everywhere the whole weekend -- which is helpful when you're celebrating something like a bachelorette party!

Pros? Location, location, location! Couldn't ask for anything better! Secondly -- it's nice that all the rooms are suites -- it gave our group some extra space -- especially the pullout couch in the sitting room.

Cons? The amenities/decor in the rooms is a bit outdated and for that reason, I think rooms are a little pricey. If I'm going to drop close to $300/night, I want updated amenities/decor -- especially in the bathroom.

the hotel is great by day but at night you get the worse service, had my shower handle break off at 10pm the engineer david came to my room with an attitude and then said he cant fix it that it would have to wait till 6am the next morning for the opening engineer to fix it. so i had to go the whole night without a shower but come morning the opening engineer trey was the total opposite, he was very friendly and he knows what hes doing, took him 5 minutes to do the repair and then refused to take a tip he said just leave it and let the house keeper have it. the hotel needs to have someone on night shift that cares about the customers, they have such great service by day but at night its just poor at best

The staff was very professional the place was beautiful, the food was great, the room was the best that we ever had. The price was high but that's expected in a city and in a luxurious hotel. The only complaint is parking costs should be included, but none of the hotels in Nashville included parking. choose the valet as its 26 per day but you can come and go as many times as you like with no additional costs, if you self park it will be 20 dollars every time you return to the lot.

I did a lot of research before I picked this hotel and it paid off. Hotel location was great right across the street from the Country music Hall of Fame, right at the beginning of Broadway, easy walk all the way up to Union Street. We have a inward facing suite so we could see the lobby from our windows and my little boy loved that, it was quite the room was great, 2 room suit, very clean, ammineties were nice, vending area was close....Great hotel and great place to stay. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were great I don't remember sleeping in a hotel that confortable.

This is a great place to stay with kids. The suite allowed us to share same room with our teenage sons and everyone was comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel.

The Hilton is in the most perfect spot for those wanting the 'Nashville experience'. You are a mere footsteps away from Broadway, next to the Bridgestone arena and across from the Country Music Hall of Fame. The rooms were spectacular! The food - well breakfast - was also really good. We ate at all different kinds of restaurants. We did a day tour of the hall of fame, including a trip to the famous Studio B. We met all kinds of great people, and had the time of our lives! Can't wait to go back!!
