“super-chic with southern hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013 via mobile

Arrived Friday evening and were able to find free street parking adjacent to the hotel garage (saving us $25/day valet). The hotel lobby is elegant, friendly doorman, beautiful suite room 1415 and surprisingly quiet (not directly in downtown noise). Comfy bed!! Slippers/robe/molten brown ammenties were lovely. Great staff, every employee helpful and friendly. Didi waitress in 1808 grille super sweet. My favorite of it all was the full gym- earphones for self controlled tv on every cardio machine, towels, water, exercise ball, step, stretch area. Perfect!

Stayed only 2 nights for a wedding, so unfortunately, I didn't really get a chance to check out all the amenities or the restaurant. The service staff were super friendly...especially the valet/shuttle drivers & housekeeping. Front desk could have been a little warmer, but maybe they were a little frazzled since there were a lot of people waiting and there are only 2 desks. Without an official queue, it felt a bit unorganized. Was a little bit disappointed with check-in since they didn't tell us about the evening cocktail hour or the complementary shuttle. Also, there was a minor issue with getting the room type I had requested. I had specifically asked for a room with a sofabed (in addition to a king bed), but for some reason, they switched me to a room with only one bed/no sofabed. After a few phone calls and a little search, they were able to find another room with a sofabed. It was nothing that would ruin a trip, but for the price, I feel like these little things shouldn't happen.

There were probably 3 wedding groups the weekend I stayed, so it was a bit chaotic...a little bit of a long wait for elevators & the shuttle. The room was comfortable and clean. Really nice. The shower/towels were great. Dry cleaning was really fast. After hours room service was delivered in no time, but according to my roommate, the burger wasn't so tasty...and I was sad that it came with a bag of potato chips instead of french fries. Getting around using a combination of the free shuttle, taxis and walking wasn't so bad. Walking downtown is totally doable and safe, just not the most scenic.

All in all, a good stay, but personally, I'm not sure it's worth the money. Guess it depends on your travel style and who's paying!

We stayed here for one night and wished we could stay longer. The staff was wonderful. The decor is very chic and interesting, with little surprises everywhere. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was AMAZING. Loved the robes and slippers too. The espresso machine down the hall was a nice touch.

Our only disappointment was that the hotel was not right downtown --- we don't know Nashville and didn't realize that when we booked. However, the hotel provides a free shuttle for anywhere you want to go within 3 miles, so it was easy to get downtown. And when we wanted to return, we just called and they came to pick us up. Very nice benefit. We were also told that cabs were easy to come by.

We ate dinner in the restaurant and thought it was excellent. Looking forward to returning to the Hutton as soon as possible.

What a wonderful hotel for a wedding. The staff went above and beyond and the hotel was one of the cleanest my wife and I have ever stayed in. The showers in the rooms made the stay worth while on there own! I will be back in the future for sure.

Goodbye Atlanta getaway weekend - Hello Nashville! Hutton was great. Their attention to detail puts this hotel on the "must stay here when in Nashville" list. Service without being intrusive. Location was close to all our destinations. Brunch at 1808 was also great. The Bloody Mary was hot and spicy which can be ordered several ways on the menu. Would definitely come back here.
If your bashful, this could be a problem as our shower allows your silhouette to show the person in the bed.

I was sent to Nashville on business and stayed here for 2 nights. Everyone on the staff from the valet guys to check-in to wait-staff, to housekeeping was amazing!
I literally felt like royalty while staying here! I would suggest this to anyone that asked for a good hotel! I travel a lot and this place is unmatched!

Room Tip: I was on the 14th floor with a view of downtown Nashville. LOVED it!

The Hutton Hotel has become the best "hang" in Music City for visiting musicians, actors, politicos and celebrities of all types. The atmosphere is definitely uber-chic without being stuffy and the lobby/bar is among the best people watching sites in Nashville. On one recent evening, hotel guest Kevin Cronin (lead singer of REO Speedwagon) gave a private acoustic concert to 50 lucky folks in this popular watering hole.
The staff goes beyond themselves to accommodate your every need whether it's in the laid-back 1808 Grille (with its award-winning chef Charles Phillips) which emphasizes New American cuisine or in the edgy-contemporary rooms and suites where the serivce is exemplary. Because of the property's location on West End Avenue, you are uniquely postioned near Museums, Centennial Park and all the Music Row activity. This place definitely has the "coolness' factor down!
