“I could live here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

This is a very comfortable home on the river. Two bedrooms with 2 baths, a full kitchen, a wonderful living room, and of course an incredible screened in porch. The grounds are beautiful, and the owner Betty is such a nice lady you won't believe it. You will want o just kick back and stay here forever. This place is ideal for 2 couples traveling together or a family.

Room Tip: Stay longer that you think you should.

This is a home away from home, not a b&b. Completely unique in a beautiful suburban setting. It's like being given the keys to a friend's house while they're away. It also has a creative vibe & history that one can feel- apparently it was a gathering place for some of Nashville's songwriters and performers. Ask the proprietess, Betty- she'll tell you! She's great. I would stay here again the next chance I got.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at End O' The Bend with another couple and found it a really special place to stay and enjoy the sights and sounds of Nashville. The two bedrooms and two baths offered plenty of privacy, while the beautiful, rustic living room and the wonderful deck overlooking the river were fantastic spots for sharing good times. The kitchen was stocked with anything we could have imagined, although we didn't do any cooking while there. What a special place to stay in Nashville!

Stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon. Even though it rained, we sat out on the porch and watched the river and just relaxed. Super easy to get to Opry Mills, the Grand Ole Opry and Jackson Riverboat. 15 minutes from the airport. 20 minutes to downtown Nashville. Coffee machine, microwave, etc.. all the comforts of home. Can't say enough without writing a book .. If we ever go back through Nashville, would absolutely stay here again!! Thank you Rachelle!

This is the jewel of the Cumberland River. We shared the cabin with another couple we were traveling with and it was perfect. The cabin is located in a wooded area about five minutes from the Grand Ole Opry. Easy in and out access for you Opry fans. The cabin had everything we needed plus more. The kitchen is great if you decide to cook and just hang out at the cabin, which we did a lot. It is hard to get off the back porch that overlooks the Cumberland River. We spent most of our time out there enjoying the view. The owners live next door so if you need anything they are there. The only complaint I have is the cabin was such a treat in itself, it was hard to get the rest of our group to go anywhere. There is no way you could not love this place I don't care who you are. Go enjoy. We will be back.

We were a mother/daughter team here in Nashville for a Girls' Weekend and chose the cabin so we could experience a bit more charm of the area. What a terrific location and set-up! The cabin is in a quiet residential neighborhood along the banks of the Cumberland River, to the eastern side of Nashville. You're only a mile from the Grand Ole Opry, highways, and some restaurants, and maybe 10-15 minutes from downtown Nashville or the airport. Convenient and quiet! There's a HUGE screened-in back porch looking out over the river, two bedrooms (King/Queen) with separate full bathrooms, fully-loaded kitchen -- with coffee fixings provided, dining room, and great room with big-screen TV and gas fireplace. There's daily cleaning service and fresh towels, and the place is spotless! It was hard to pry ourselves away from that back porch to get out and explore the city, and we loved coming "home" in the evenings to relax. Rachelle, who manages the place, lives right next door -- so she's handy if you have any questions or need suggestions or driving directions! It looks rustic from the outside, but the cabin has central air conditioning and heat, cable, house phone, hair dryers in the bathrooms, clock radios, etc. And the bedsheets are so smooth -- definitely a high threadcount. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at End O' The Bend, the cabin is absolutely perfect for a quiet get away, yet minutes from all the attractions that Nashville has to offer. We spent a wonderful visit here with friends we hadn't seen in almost 20 years, we all felt just like we had "come home"-immaculate rooms, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, everything you could ask for and more. Thank you so much Betty, we'll be back...and plan to tell everyone we know about this hidden treasure!
