A bit of a drive to downtown Nashville but much more affordable than equivalent downtown hotels, this property is at the end of a service road near the old Opryland and in the midst of tourist attractions, fast food places and other hotels. There is a nice mini-golf and go-kart place nearly adjacent, which was great for the kids, but nothing else in the immediate vicinity was of interest. No problem, though, as this Hampton is very convenient to the highway and made a good landing spot for adventures in various directions. The lobby and breakfast area are very comfortable; even the piped-in music is interesting and diverse. We stayed with several friends and booked 4 rooms total, so we used he lobby area a lot to convene our whole group. My family's room was fine, a good size and with reliably comfortable Hampton beds and amenities. The refrigerator made an annoying ticking sound that kept me up the first night. I reported it but nothing was ever done about it; I just unplugged the fridge for the duration. Breakfast was fine, typical good-quality Hampton variety and the fresh fruit with mango was a definite plus. Friendly staff and all around a nice place to stay. We will definitely book again if in Nashville.
