“Good location, mediocre room”

My wife and I had a nice stay in one of the King Suites upstairs. The location is not bad--more or less across the street from the Grand Ole Opry, and just a few minutes from downtown via the highway. However, if it's your first time here, you'll probably have a hard time finding the driveway... it's in the very back of a winding access roadway with a tiny sign, and none of the other hotels' parking lots connect to it! (It's just behind the Hyatt Place, driveway is to the left).

Our suite room was nice and spacious, but under-lit. The toilet paper was the worst I've ever seen! And the TV took about three seconds to change each channel. The water pressure was fairly low, too, but that's probably typical around here. Finally, the continental breakfast had all of the things you'd want, but it was all low-quality, mass produced kind of food.

The staff was very friendly. Overall, this is a good enough hotel if you're looking for a less expensive option, and you don't keep your expectations very high.

We arrived early and the staff was very accommodating with allowing us to check in. All staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were nice, beds comfortable and breakfast good. We did not use the shuttle because it only leaves the property once every hour so it was not very convenient but all in all a good stay.

We stayed here for a quick overnight trip to attend a party. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Hotel will need a little updating soon, but is a great location if you are going to Opry Mills. Right across the street from the Gaylord Opryland Hotel.

Stayed here with my 2 daughter's & two grandbabies for it's close proximity to Opryland Hotel and Opry Mills Mall for a Christmas Tradition. Clean, quiet & comfortable rooms, and the breakfast was very good. This hotel was very accommodating to us and had everything I requested when I booked a room, so there was no problem after we arrived. The Desk worker was very nice to us on Saturday morning & asked the very polite, gracious bus driver to drive us to the Opryland Hotel in between departing times after they saw my sweet grandbabies get anxious. Please DO NOT LEAVE ANY PACKAGES IN YOUR VEHICLE!! I felt so sorry for the 3 families who had to fill out police reports Saturday morning for vehicle break-ins. One van was parked in front of the hotel entrance when the window was smashed out while pouring down rain. We will stay here again.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Opry Mills. The hotel itself is very modern and the room was clean and well-appointed. The hot breakfast offered was excellent with a good selection available. The location of the hotel was perfect for us - right off of the highway, down the street from Opry Mills and restaurants close by. The overall value was good, especially since it was during (American) Thanksgiving. Good service at the front desk with a very easy check-in and check-out and very helpful when questions were asked. A great 3-night stay!

I stayed here instead of the Gaylord Resort during a business convention. It was absolutely a better value for the cost of the room, and I recommend to anyone in a similar situation to seriously consider the Hampton instead of the overpriced and underserviced Gaylord.

Stayed here while attending a conference at the Gaylord. The staff and amenities make this hotel a great value--free shuttle to and from airport and Gaylord, wireless internet, great complimentary breakfast. Staff overall were helpful. Sunshine really sets this hotel apart from others, with her wonderful warm morning greetings. Would definitely stay again.
