I chose this particular Hampton because it has suites and the parking was free. The queen suite was quite large and comfortable. Upon check in, we were warmly greeted and given dinner suggestions. We had purchased Opryland tickets, and the kind lady who checked us in told us how we could get them before the show, which saved time and stress. We used the downtown shuttle to get, well, downtown! At $10 per person, it was a good deal, and after having a few beverages on Broadway, I was very happy that I wasn't driving back to the hotel. We also used the hotel's Grand Ole Opry shuttle. I found this to be quite reliable, and the staff did exactly what they told us they would. They dropped us off at Opryland, gave me their card and told us to call after the show. We did that, and they picked us up promptly. Not bad for free service, although always tip the driver!
I wish I could remember everyone's name who works here, but I'll just say that everyone we encountered treated us wonderfully. I got up the first morning we were there, resigned to a lackluster run or the treadmill. The girl working the front desk that morning told me about a great 4 mile loop that goes by the nearby river. How cool is that? Sunshine, who works the breakfast, has a way of bringing everyone together. Breakfast was very good, with lots of space for all.
The area of town this hotel is located in is a bit cheesy (although close to Cooter's!), but the service and amenities provided by the hotel and staff more than make up for it. I would recommend this Hampton to anyone.

I'm really glad you had such a nice time during your stay, and that what our hotel has to offer, such as our complimentary shuttle and our morning breakfast, worked out so well.
