“Simply Amazing!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

I can not express my appreciation and admiration for those who are employed by Opryland Museum! Very well versed in the rich history of country music. Great place to visit while in Nashville!

“No longer there”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

Unfortunately, this museum no longer exists. I'm glad I was able to visit while it was open, it was a very good museum to visit with a very wide assortment of displays. Plus, it was free. This museum is missed.

“THIS WAS A NICE MUSEUM at Opry Plaza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

I rated it 5 stars because it was! This museum was free to tour at one time. It was part of our OPRYLAND USA theme park (that they ripped down) untill1997. But after the flood we had, they closed this museum down. The building is still there but the inside has been gutted and now sits empty. Sad. Next to this museum was The Roy Acuff theatre that was torn down after the flood. But as a Nashville local, I think it's sad that Gaylord company has got its heart for country music attractions down to the minimum requirements these days. Only thing left to the opry plaza is the Opry House itself. This is truth.

“Interesting museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

To view all of the items that belonged to the various artists was very interesting. The accumulation of the early music, clothing and instruments used by them is amazing. Well worth the time to see this museum.
