“Loved It”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014

This was actually one of my favorite attractions. I love seeing the history of how people actually lived in different eras. There is a different guide(narrator) in each part of the house who is dressed in costume that describes the history of the family and talks about the house. Afterward there is a nice wine tasting as well. A very nice was to spend an afternoon.

Very informative if you have never visited a plantation before but I wish there was a little more to see outside of the house.

“A must see for Horse fans”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

We had Austin as our guide through the mansion. He was fantastic! The history of the farm and of the slaves who helped run it was very interesting. With so many wealthy families back in those days, they were plagued by tragedy and misfortune. I so enjoyed the story telling. The wine tasting at the end of our tour was a lovely ending to a beautiful afternoon. So worth the $16 admission cos
