“Great Time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

This is a must see show when visiting Nashville. We were not able to see it in the new building, however, the new building was amazing. Huge! We were able to tour the building as they were getting ready for their Christmas Shows. We did see the Grand Ole Opry Show at the Ryman Auditorium. A MUST SEE show when you are in town. Worth every penny it cost to see it!!

“Always a fun time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

I always enjoy a trip to the Opry. The tradition, the music. If you don't know already, they still broadcast the Opry as a radio show, so the commercials get a bit tiresome. Also, be prepared that generally, each act only performs two or three acts. And usually, there are a couple acts you won't enjoy and if you are going to see a favorite well-known singer/group, you may be disappointed that you are only seeing a couple of songs.

“Live Radio Broadcast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

Was not to sure about this one. Honestly we had the best time. I found this so entertaining, upcoming music, great fiddlers, singers etc. I also found the commercials very funny, at first you don't realize the announcer was saying adds for Dollar General and Cracker Barrel but what a hoot. So glad we took the chance and went. Thank you for such a fun evening.

“Well, ya gotta go if it's first trip to nashville!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

Yes, it's touristy, yes the crowds are big and it's a bit of a drive from your downtown hotel, but it's the one thing that everyone associates with the city. The show had a couple headliners but the show is really a variety show with an announcer, commercials for the sponsor (it's on the radio)and several regulars and acts leading up to the final few songs where the headliners sing (about two songs each). We left before the final song to miss the traffic because its a big crowd in a big parking lot. So go for the show and then visit the Ryman Auditorium downtown to get a feel for the original theater.
