“Unexpected and Interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

We had never been to Nashville before, and didn't know that this building even existed. Who could imagine that a city would build a full-size replica of the Parthenon?! Very impressive on the outside, and even more impressive inside with the giant statue of Athena standing in the center, and the Elgin casts on display around the sides.

The art gallery was an added bonus.

Definitely worth the minimal entrance fee.

“FEELS LIKE GREECE”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

I especially liked the way it looked from the outside. I thought that they took this building from greece and brought it here. The statues on the inside were very authenic looking and the massive statue of Athena was very impressive. This statue was 42 feet tall. I also liked all the art work painted by well known painters that filled this building. When I go some where and I learn new and different things, than I find that place a worth wild place to go to. This happens to be one of them.

“Great sightseeing adventure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

The Parthenon in Nashville is a quick 10-15 minute drive from city center. There's a nice big lawn to hang out/picnic & lounge. I did not go into the actual museum but I heard it was great, either way, just sitting on the lawn and steps admiring the magnificent Parthenon is fun. The lawn area is very well-kept. It's a must-see if you're in the Nashville area and you're sick of the nash-vegas strip of fluorescent lights and pan-handlers.
