“A bit out of the way if you want downtown activies”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2013

I stayed for a few days in October after booking through RCI. It was the coldest week of my 5 weeks and the idea of leaving the unit was not easy too do. The unit was lovely and large. Having the kitchen was a welcome change as I could cater for breakfast without the huge cost of going some where else.
Definitely agree with some of the other comments to stay away from the sales team. They are like all the other sales teams at the Wyndham resorts and all they want is more of your money.
You will need a car to get around Nashville but there are the odd tours from the resort.

Lovely 2 bedroom condo, room to spread out and enjoy a vacation. The resort had everything one could ask for, lovely grounds and pools. While the room was a little dated, it was spotless and well equipped with quality utensils and cooking gear.

Staff was extremely welcoming, and we were never bothered with timeshare sales. One morning I called for an additional coffee filter and shortly there was a knock on the door with extra filters and coffee too.

Even though its quite a distance from downtown, the hourly shuttle ($10 pp) works very well.

Would highly recommend.

This was our first time to Nashville, we did something different every day. There is so much to do and see to keep you busy. It is a "vacation ownership resort" (timeshare) which we have owned 3 weeks for a very long time. So we did not want to hear the hard sell. They are very persistent in the efforts, they called a lot! We were finally able to tell them to keep their welcome package and leave us alone. The place is very, very nice. We had a 2/2 it was large, over 1000 sqft. Missed a fireplace, but the trees were beautiful! Super great location. Great amenities and a lot of resort activities.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon staying at the Wyndham Nashville. We had no idea of what to expect since we had never been there before. We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived to a great, welcoming staff and a beautiful 1 bedroom suite. Great kitchen, bath and bedroom with a washer and dryer for the week. Close to everything you want to visit in Nashville. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Room Tip: There is a Publix about 15 minutes tops from the hotel. Go there your first night to stock up on foo...

My family stayed here while visiting Nashville in November 2012. The property was very well kept inside and out. The property is also only about a 2 minute drive from the Opryland Hotel and about 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. The Mall and Bass Pro Shops are only 5 minutes away. Great location and we enjoyed our stay and all the Christmas lights!!!

We stayed a week in lovely accommodations. To update RCI to Wyndham records, we were invited to a review at sales office. The initial rep (Rick) was helpful but somehow Mauricio got involved & then things got "uninteresting" - he has a hard sell which involved serious repetition of points to occupy 2.5 hours while Jack gathered info. When we expected a $200 upgrade to membership - it came out at either $20K or $13K. We lost all our time to pack to spend our last evening together with friends and so on b/c of this runaround. So go, enjoy the amenities as they are great, but whatever you do don't let the sales office get hold of you!

My husband and I stayed at Wyndham Nashville for two nights over last weekend. The resort had the same floor plan as many of the other Wyndham properties where we have stayed. This property is quite large having many different buildings, compared to some of the other Wyndham properties where we have stayed.

Our unit was a one bedroom deluxe with a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a full balcony. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook a meal, including oven / range, dishwasher, toaster, coffee pot, and a blender. We didn't cook at all, but normally we do. Since we were only there a couple days instead of an entire week we didn't take the time to go grocery shopping. We did use the washer and dryer, and they worked just fine. They are a small unit but big enough for only 2 people.

The location of the resort was near the Opryland hotel. Several things to do near the resort, but to get to some of the attractions, like the Ryman and Country Music Hall of Fame you will need a car.

We did not utilize the pool area or the hot tub. Instead we spent our time seeing the sights of Nashville.

Overall, my husband and I enjoy our Wyndham properties and are not disappointed in Nashville. If we ever plan another trip to Nashville, we will be delighted to stay at the Wyndham again.
