“Frist time at a Wyndham”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

The resort is located near the Grand Ole Opry, ad the mall. We were in a two bedroom unit on the top floor. There was a full kitchen and modern appliances. The only problem was all the dishes and glasses were in one cabinet which was up high. I'd need a step stool to get the dishes, and so we just left them on the counter. Otherwise, the unit was great.

The front desk was very friendly, fast, and efficient. Also the activities director, Debbie, is so full of life!
We attended some of their activities and had a lot of fun. Sunday night you need to attend the welcoming party. We also attended some of their night specials and that was fun.

I'm sure we will return sometime.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for the top floor. I did because I had read so many other reviews .

This property is located close to many of the Opryland attractions but within easy access to downtown Nashville.
This particular property is better quality than other Wyndham units we have visited.
The Internet service is slow, but this is normal at Wyndham.
The fitness center is too small and the stationary bicycle needed repair, as did the water fountain.
We had a very large 1 bedroom unit. There's a full kitchen, and a hot tub. Most appliances are upgraded. Our front desk experience was fast and efficient.
This is a good, comfortable way to visit Nashville.

Room Tip: Try for an upper floor. There's not enough soundproofing.

Thank you for providing this feedback. We are glad you were able to enjoy a comfortable vacation at our property. We do appreciate your feedback regarding suggested improvements at our resort as we are always looking for ways to better guest stays. We apologize for the issues you had with the Wi-Fi. As you know, we have many resorts which house a large number of guests and their wireless devices. We are working to better the wireless connection at our resorts but this process will take some time. Again, thanks for taking the time to reach out. We look forward to your next visit!

Stayed there with family over the weekend (September 2013).. Didn't know the check out time was 10:00 in the morning, which was definitely a first for us (we are frequent travelers). We called the front desk a little before 10:00 to find out what the check time was and there was no way they would give us at least half an hour. Had to pay $35:00 for the 1st half hour, and the it would be $100.00 for each additional hour..Rude staff, very hard beds, no breakfast, far from downtown Nashville. In other words: no reason to stay there.

This Wyndham vacation resort property is in the midst of a high-volume tourist area of Nashville. The location is VERY convenient to the Grand Old Opry, malls, etc. However, unlike many of the Wyndhams, it is much more like a "motel", with packed parking lots, and little to do on site. The rooms are typical roomy condos. We stayed in the smallest 1 bedroom. It has separate bathroom, separate kitchen/living combo. There was no view except of the parking lot. The unit was quite worn - floor tiles in the bathroom floor were completely broken and patched (but wobbly). There was a significant OLD water leak under the kitchen sink - the wood cabinet was moldy and warped - so it wasn't a new leak. The drapes in the bedroom did not block the outside lights, which kept waking me up during the night. The window screens were bent, as well. Otherwise, comfortable bedding, convenient kitchen with fridge/dishwasher/microwave and coffee maker.

First of all the rooms are much nicer than hotel expensive rooms. I stayed over a suite for two nights and felt I was at home. Basic amenities are available with a check in which is awesome. Location is near opry mall literally one exit away. Parking has alot of spaces, expect to see a security at night once entering the premises so you feel relieve. I would stay here again in my next visit.

One of the nicest hotels I have been at for such a great price. Easy access and centrally located. Short drive to downtown Nashville and just around the corner from the Opryland Hotel, Opryl Mills Mall and the Grand Old Opry.

Awesome location, pools were great in the hot weather
everything was fantastic, people at front desks were welcoming
we found gas at the exit before by Kmart for 3.26 a gallon- as much as 3.70 down the highway
the place was busy as it was a weekend but plenty of room, 4 people in a 1 bedroom
everything worked, very relaxing- next to Grand Ole Opry, huge mall, a riverboat to take cruises on, just a few miles from downtown- must see Broadway area and take a carriage ride, lots to do and see
bed was fantastic

Room Tip: building 20 was very quiet at the back of the resort
