I had a five night stay at this property, and found it to be just fine for what it was: an outside-entrance "value" property. I was traveling alone, on business, and would probably not have brought my wife to this type of hotel--but that is true of any value property (she likes to stay a bit more upscale).
This property is family run, and it seems like three generations are pitching in--which is nice.
The breakfast is not an option for anyone trying to eat right. There is a market a block or two away, and the in-room fridge and microwave made it a snap to eat well while staying there.
The internet was plenty-fast, and I thought the outdoor pool was inviting, though I did not get to use it.
I get the sense that some of the other reviewers came expecting something else, and were subsequently disappointed. If you come expecting an "average" place, long on value, short on frills, and you'll get what you came for. I will be back next year on my annual trip to the area.
