“Nice hotel in a good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014

After my wife and I canceled our room at the Ramada Inn in Nashville due to a rude manager there, we found this hotel on line. When we first got there to book a room the front desk attendant was very nice and helpful. We got a very nice comfortable room. The only thing I didnt like about the hotel is the breakfast costs us $20 and there was a $16 Parking fee per day.

The location was very nice if you are looking do a little partying downtown. They have a free shuttle that runs around downtown Nashville and will pick you up virtually anywhere until 10:45PM. After that cab rides are $7 which we left a $3 tip to take the total to $10. The valets were incredibly helpful with tourist and navigation information.

Great hotel in a good location.

Four of us stayed in one room and it was great. Much better service than last year. Too bad there is no pool there to splash in during the hot days of CMA fest for a break and it is unfortunate they do not have suites, but with most of our time downtown the fact it was not a suite was not a huge issue, but may be looking more towards that in the future. The guys that help with luggage and the vehicles are the best of the bunch there. Very friendly, always welcoming you back when you come in and never too busy to say hello. Other staff are not as friendly but it is what it is, at least you get greeted with a smile when coming and going. Would go back here no hesitation, it is close to everything and we sure know there fire alarm system works! Our first night there we were up at 3am with it going off due to a grease fire outside. Nice to know the system works so effectively.

Room Tip: If possible, ask for a room that does not face a brick building with an apartment you can look into...

The location could not be better to visit downtown. The hotel was very pricy, due to the CMA festival, which is to be expected. My pet peeve is to pay that kind of price and you do not get free coffee in the lobby. it is kind of like paying for your baggage on the airlines. This will keep me from staying at Courtyards by Marriott.

Great hotel in the heart of downtown Nashville. Steps away from Broadway Avenue honkytonks, restaurants and activities. Has a concierge, bell hops, night locked doors, Starbucks and great food in its lounge.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that has unobstructed views as some rooms face the side of the building next door mak...

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of CMA fest in early June. This is my 2nd stay at this hotel for the same time frame. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly. They offer valet parking but I have always parked in the garage right next door, or across the street. We were given a corner room on the 8th floor with two beds and a couch (not sure if it was a hide-a-bed, we didn't look). Room was very spacious and had a small refrigerator. Only complaint is the counter top around the single sink is rather small. There is a shelf below the sink to help store items though. The Courtyard is within walking distance to the Riverfront, Broadway and a block from the Ryman. I will always check this hotel first when I travel to Nashville. Again, the staff is tremendous!

Just visited Nashville for the CMA Music Festival and stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. It was perfectly situated to enjoy the festival and be able to come back to the room for a break or a shower before heading back out for the nighttime activities. Yes, as others have stated the rooms are dated but everything was clean and I had the best water pressure I have ever had in a hotel (an important feature). And every person we encountered on staff was fabulous - friendly, helpful, and warm. Our room charge was part of our travel package so I can't speak to price but I would recommend this hotel based on the great staff and fabulous location.

My husband and I have stayed at Courtyards before and weren't disappointed in this one. We stayed for 3 nights in May 2014. The location is great, near the honky-tonk of Broadway and Printers' Alley, and walking distance to the Ryman Auditorium and Museums. The Visitors' Center is 2 blocks away; stop in for maps and info. Our room was a "king whirlpool" and actually had a whirlpool bath in the bedroom! A little weird; the space could be better used for a small seating area. But the room was comfortable and clean. Instead of having breakfast in the Bistro, we went across the street to Dunn's Coffee. Thee valet parking is pricey (we could have found something cheaper), but convenient. The lobby and bar area is spacious and inviting. We definitely would stay here again.

Room Tip: When booking, ask the price difference between a "king" and "king whirlpool". I...
