“Great hotel and location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the courtyard. The location was fantastic. Short walk to Broadway and the honky tonks made it easy to go out at night and not have to taxi back. The area felt really safe. Puckett's is also very close which is great for a nice southern meal. Would definitely recommend this place.

I stayed in this hotel last weekend for 2 nights. It was the perfect location to make easy stops throughout the day back to the hotel. About a 3 block walk from Broadway (home to the famous honky tonks) and quick jaunt to the Ryman Auditorium, I couldn't have booked a better location.

The rooms were clean, and of good size. The hotel staff friendly at check in (there is a guidebook in the lobby with coupons for discount admission to the Ryman and Country Music Hall of Fame). I think I interacted most with the valets and they were always full of smiles!

I also took advantage of the cafe in the lobby one day for breakfast.

If you're visiting Nashville and looking for a good homebase, this is it!

Room Tip: my room didnt boast much of a view, but was very close to the elevators, which was nice. I was on th...

This hotel was great to stay at in Nashville . It was walking distance to the strip and Bridgestone arena. I would recommend it to stay at. It is a short cab ride from the airport and they get you a cab to go back to the airport. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The market stays open all night so if you need anything you can still get it. The rooms were clean. We had a great view of the river and Titans stadium.

The hotel is in a converted bank building and has some neat architectural features. Lobby are is very nice. Our room was very large, but nothing special. It was clean, quiet, and Broadway is just a 5 minute walk away. Staff was very nice. Would stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in October in a double standard room. The hotel was in a good location about 2 bocks from Broadway (downhill going towards Broadway, uphill going back to the hotel). The hotel is across the street from Printers Alley. The beds in my room were very comfortable. My room had an adjoining door to the room next door and I was told my the staff that all of the double rooms had adjoining rooms. The room décor was OK but nothing too fancy-very plain, but it was fine. I really liked the Starbucks in the lobby and Dunn Brothers across the street had great breakfast sandwiches. I would stay at this hotel again. No complaints from me.

We stayed here over Columbus Day weekend, and it was our first time in Nashville. We came with the intent of soaking up as much live music downtown as possible, and the Marriott Courtyard made it possible due to the great location. A 5 min walk to Broadway, and a 2-3 min walk to Starbucks and Puckett's where we got coffee and an amazing breakfast each morning. The hotel itself was nice - not the Ritz by any means but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. We used the gym while we were there as well (located on the 2nd floor). It was fairly small like most other hotel gyms, but had sufficient and fairly new equipment. Upon check-in (on a busy holiday weekend), they also granted my request for a room on an upper level away from an elevator, which I really appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the upper floor away from the elevator for more quiet
