This Courtyard stood out for its excellent service compared to the one in Brentwood. The staff is clearly trained on hospitality and going beyond the call of duty to serve its guests. This made the stay a positive experience.

The hotel was formerly a bank and the dining room/bar off the lobby has an incredible ballroom feel with what have to be 40 foot ceilings. Great place for a drink.

The glass on the building is single pane and does not insulate as well as modern glass. Not a big price to pay for the history. It did cause the air in my room to run more than usual and I woke up with a stuffy nose because of the vent location in my room. A minor issue on an overall good stay. The flat panel tv was adequate, but not as large as some upscale hotels in the area. Again, not a big deal.

If you favor historical buildings and excellent, personable service this is a great choice for a stay downtown. Go to Demos (a block away) for dinner and you'll have a perfect night.

I stay at this hotel on most of mu business trips to the Nashville area and like it very much. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The lobby is newly renovated and looks much better than it did.
It is a little off of the highway, but it is easy to get to and you can valet a car.
It is a short walk to Broadway and some other excellent local spots that are worth visting.
Overall, it is a very good spot

Booked a king room months ago, Courtyard even confirmed my preference in an email, but when we checked in I was told that the king rooms were all taken. How do you give away my confirmed room? The desk clerk then have us a room with two small double beds for a whole $15 discount ($165!).

Location puts you within walking distance of food, fun and entertainment. You can park the truck when you arrive and not have to see it again until your ready to drag yoursel to leave. This has been the choice spot for my friends and I when we choose to indulge in the live music on Music Row.
