“Very quaint but there's no high tea anymore”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

It was nice to visit, have a cup of tea and see all the women working away on their quilting projects. The staff were also really nice but I wish they still had their "high tea" (e.g. scones and cakes on a tiered stand) because that would have been even better.

“Best patchwork shop in victoria”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013 via mobile

Gary and Marilyn are lovely, friendly, welcoming hosts. Gary's scones and berry jam are the best I have ever eaten. Don't visit and not have a serve you will be missing a special treat. As for the fabulous selection of fabrics,oh la la a fabric-a-holic heaven nestled under gracious trees in a 1930's style building that is a historic landmark at the entrance to the Warburton township. Don't drive and not drop in it is worth stopping you will a wonderful experience and be creating a lovely memory of visit. My favourite place to get away from it all and relax. Worth the drive everytime.

“A must for any patchwork or craft person”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

I have been here serveral times over as many years. Lovely setting in early 1900 building. Disappointed with type of cafe' food offered on menu of - it was just okay. However the scone's with jam and cream are exceptionally nice. Great for morning or afternoon tea. The patchwork fabric range is fabulous. Lots of patterns, block of the month, sewing notions, books and a special gift range. Very heart felt warm welcome here. There is even a visitor's book to sign and comment it - interesting! Place is set only metres from the Yarra River and a short stroll along the river is a bonus. If you are a patchwork or crafter - do not miss this opportunity.

“Jam and Cream”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Nestled quietly amongst the trees you will find the Patchwork Tea House. Don't fly past it in your car. It is at the top of the street as you enter Warburton from the Melbourne side. This quaint restaurant is a patchworker's haven but it also serves the one of the best devonshire teas I have tasted. We wandered around looking at everything on display and then sat down to tea and scones. Unless you are a big eater I would suggest you share a plate. Two large scones, homemade jam and delicious thick cream. Sit in the window and gaze at the scenery. You will find some lovely gifts to buy as well. Plenty of parking or simply park elsewhere and wander back along the Warburton main street to the tea house. Enjoy.
