“Perfect sunday afternoon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013 via mobile

A bottle of their fabulous wine, some very tasty pizzas, great company, and am amazing view.
So we had to wait (read- stalk people finishing) 30 mins for a table, and the same again for our food; but once you have food and a table, its a fantastic way to spend an afternoon!

“Not quite fine dining, fab view”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

We arrived to a lovely airconditioned, modern restaurant on a hot summer day, which we were very grateful for, and the staff were very accommodating to the two children in our group. The menu is clear cut and interesting vegetarian options were included too. It was a set price for two or three courses, which we felt was pricey at $72/$95 a head, especially when the ladies in the group don't tend to eat two courses. With this price point, we expected a faultless fine dining experience. The portions were just right so that we did not feel too full afterwards. Those who ordered the duck salad entree were a bit disappointed, but all loved the lamb main. The caramel banana side to the chocolate mousse cake was really something special. Although staff were very welcoming and friendly, there were a few stuff-ups. My husband's beer was never removed once finished and he was never offered another drink. Staff repeatedly mixed up who was having what meal and drink, and one person had to wait 15 minutes for his main while he watched us eat due to the waitress mixing up his order, which is not acceptable at the level this is being pitched. If not for these service errors, we would have marked it up one point. People may prefer to enjoy the view over the lovely vineyards and sculptures in the more relaxed cafe area, which is also special.

“Scenic pleasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

We opted for the 3 course dinner option. Great food, great service and a lovely peaceful view over the vineyards.

“Could not run a bath a peak season!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

This was absolutely disappointing! For someone showing the peninsula to abroad it was nothing but unacceptable. Food took two hours for pizza. Salad side for $8 was just leaves. No acceptable shade for all patrons. No table seating. Staff extremely slack and rude.

“Slice of heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2012

Amazing gardens, rolling countryside and interesting sculptures. A totally relaxed vibe. Delicious pizza and zingy riesling - yum.
