My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner at q seafood provedore. It's not a fancy place, nor were we expecting it to be, we were there for good food. And good food we had.
The oysters with shallots and red wine vinegar were flawless and reasonably priced at $3 a pop. I thought the chowder, while thoroughly delicious, was a bit pricey at $29, especially since the one I had didn't have a lot of seafood it, just flecks of fish and small but tasty scallops, a rogue prawn and .. no mussels or clams! Admittedly, it is very filling and is listed as a main. I guess I'm more accustomed to chowder being on the entree side of the menu. The staff were so lovely and offered to take a photo of us and even gave us a little cake to take home on our way out (when we were too full from chowder to have dessert)!
It was a cold, windy night when we went so I'm looking forward to coming back in summer.
