“Clean and Friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2011

We stayed here with our two dogs and was very pleased with the room and the staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and included biscuits and gravy. We plan to stay at this hotel again when in the area.

I stayed here when visiting family. The staff was courteous and baked fresh cookies every night for free! I had some with the coffee that's always available down in the lobby. :)

The hotel doesn't have anything really fancy: There are nice suites, but no jacuzzi. If you don't need one and are looking for a deal, stay here! It's clean and comfortable, and the rooms are the cheapest in miles for such a nice place!

The other hotels in this town are well over $100 or $150 a night. I stayed here for MUCH less.

The breakfast is good, plus you can walk to a lot of restaurants and shopping right from the property I recommend it!! -Mary

My family stayed here on our way to Smoky Mountains - just needed an average hotel for a quick stop over. Although it looked fine on the outside and the clerks were very nice, the hallways & rooms were old & dirty. We had black dirt marks on the walls, the carpet was disgusting, the sheets on the beds were so theadbare they had holes. The breakfast in the morning was nice, but it didn't make the stay worth it.

Spent two nights here, just east of Nashville to visit the Ryman, the Opry, and the Country Music Hall of Fame. We cashed in our rewards nights (10000 points per night) to cover the cost. The room we were given is absolutely the smallest room I've ever had at a Choice Hotel. My old college dorm room from the late 70's was bigger than this one. We had a non-smoking queen room. There was room for the bed, two small bedside tables, a wooden desk with chair and a linen closet. Barely enough room to walk around the bed. There was no fridge or microwave, but there wouldn't have been room for them anyway. The TV was awkwardly positioned on top of the linen closet. They had put a room wide mirror above the bed to give the illusion of space - but it didn't work. The in-room air conditioner was the loudest I've ever experienced as well. The ice machine on our floor did not work. The blanket was like sandpaper with a couple of holes in it. The bed had two very thin pillows and the kleenex box was empty, but to their credit, they responded with a note I left and provided two extra pillows and a new kleenex box the next day. And, the fire alarm went off twice the first night we were there but the man at the check in counter could not find a reason, called the fire dept who never showed, and finally told us it was a false alarm - not very reassuring, but no one smelled smoke so we went back to our rooms. The good: it was clean. A Cracker Barrell restaurant is next door & a mall and many places to eat just across the highway. Only 15 to 20 minutes from Nashville's attractions. I'm really curious if all the rooms are this tiny or if we were being dissed for using our rewards points??

This hotel is very deceptive from the exterior. The staff was friendly and helpful but for what we paid for our room it was very small, outdated, and it smelled very musty. For how outdated the room was it was at least clean. The breakfast was okay... what you would expect for a continental breakfast. Close to many stores but the staff wasnt very knowledgable on things to do or see in the area or downtown nashville.

This hotel is conveniently located off I-40 behind Cracker Barrel. Everything you could possibly need can be found in less than 1/4 mile. Loads of shopping and food choices and even a movie theater!

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.

We spent 6 nights at the hotel and it was very clean, safe, and the staff was wonderful.

We will definitely stay there again!
