4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

Nice clean motel, easy to find had 2 nights here with family. Close to everything. The flour cafe across the road was fantastic food and fun. After arriving you don't have to drive anymore! Very reasonable priced. Thanks guys a great relaxing time!

Room Tip: Make sure you try the cafe across the road.

I stayed there in October 2012 [this is a 'better late than never' review] for two nights while riding to the Australian Mototrcycle GP. It's a great little motel on the edge of town. Excellent hosts, great breakfast, all the ususal facilities in good order [recently refurbished].

The motel is motorcycle friendly, though not a noisy location.

The only point to note, mainly for motorbike riders, is that the parking area is deepish medium size pebbles, so you need to think about how you'll park, and how you'll depart.

No a big problem ... just something to consider before you 'dive in'.

Town facilities are about a K away ... walking distance to the nice Pub & several cafes / bistros.

Highly recommended ... I will be returning.

Dropped in for an overnight stay. Older style, smallish motel with nicely up-to-date rooms - newish bed, furnishings & renovated bathroom with generous sized, tiled walk-in shower. Outdoor lawn area with chairs & table through back glass doors overlooking mountain views. Flatscreen TV, bikkies, tea & plunger coffee (superior Queen room). Bring your own milk unless you don't mind those little UHT containers. Has modern aircon system.

One of the best reasons to stay here is the pizza cafe (Flour + Water) which is directly across the road.

Had a couple of minor problems but not deal breakers. Hotel offers free wifi (500 MB; can pay for more) but we couldn't access it via ethernet or either of the Wifi networks, even though I am quite tech savvy. Also, booked a Queen + single bed room online but got a room with Queen only, so you might want to clarify this when you check in.

Would be happy to stay here again. It's a lovely, good value hotel in prettily landscaped grounds with friendly hosts and a very relaxing atmosphere.

Room Tip: The rooms are arranged in a single line. Ask for the end one if you want a little more privacy or qu...

Margaret and I spent 5 days at the Bogong Moth Motel in September 2012 where we found the quality of accommodation and breakfast to be very good
We were very impressed with the lovely views of Mt Bogong from our motel room, and the owner manager, Steve Williams was a great help in planning our daily itinerary which included a trip to Falls Creek; Bogong village and a glider flight with the Mt Beauty Gliding Club

Margaret and I intend to return to this motel for the autumn festival

Room Tip: ask for a superior room where the views of Mt Bogong and Mt Beauty are stunning

Me and my partner stayed for one night at the bogong moth hotel and we would stay again!
The hotel was easy to find at night and late check in was fantastic. The owner Steve was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very cosy and warm and the bathroom was very clean. And pricing for the room was very reasonable. I would most certainly recommend others to stay here. The location is excellent very close to town centre and close to the snowfield plains. 9/10 :)
