“Happy Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

Room was clean and spacious to accomodate 3 adults. We made use of the in-door pool which has a jacuzzi. Location was also good as nearby eateries. Check in and out were fast. Very Happy with our stay in this Hotel.

My wife and I had to make a last minute reservation and found the Best Western Brooklands available and in our price range. We arrived past suggested check-in time of 8pm and they were eager to meet us. The room was a Studio room and it was spacious, clean and had everything we needed and more. The main thing was the staff was great with our questions, great restaurant and winery suggestions and could not have been more amenable to us. We used the pool and hottub which was great after a day of touring wineries in the rain and even used the laundry facilities. The hotel was close to everything we needed. If ever we are back in this area, I will certainly book here again.

My only complaint was that while internet was included, it was slow and sometimes would disconnect and we would have to continue to try to reconnect. Other than that, we loved the accommodations. We stayed there on Nov 28-29, 2013.

I stayed here with my fiance for my mum's wedding held at the function place on site. The staff were friendly and very helpful and we had no issues with them at all.

The room (we had the most basic room they offer I believe) was nice and large as well as being clean apart from a few bugs. We couldn't hear noise from other rooms either however on Saturday night we could hear loud music from the function place until nearly midnight. It would have been annoying to try to sleep through. In the bathroom they have wall dispensers for soap, shampoo and conditioner which is fine but these obviously are not checked by the room cleaners as some of ours were empty and this was annoying.

We did not eat at the hotel but a number of our friends and family also staying did and said the food was delicious.

The mini bar was just ok. Other facilities looked nice such as the pool but we did not have time to check these out. It was nice to have a chair and table outside our room too and it was pleasant to sit outside. Each room has one car spot that is free to use too which was good.

I did not bother to try the wifi as you only get 15min free before you have to pay and it was expensive. I travel a lot for work and much prefer hotels that use a free data quota rather than a time limit.

Overall we had a nice experience but given the price and what you get for it I probably would not return here unless it was for another wedding held at Brooklands.

My husband, 22 yr old daughter and myself shared a family room on our 2 night visit to the Mornington Peninsula. Room no. 7 seemed fairly new compared to some other photos on Trip Advisor. Comfy King sized bed and a king single in a room that was plenty big enough for the 3 of us. Separate toilet to the bathroom was great, shower was roomy and shower head even got a rap from our daughter, also having the heater lights made morning showers in the coldest Nov in 20 years more then comfortable. Check in was smooth, car park out the front of room handy in the rain and proximity to Main St great. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and found it a great base to explore the peninsula.

Nice rooms. Very clean and tidy and modern room lay out. Nice ambiance about the hotel with trees and seats.
King bed very comfy and no road noise. Indoor pool was a bonus and so was free internet. I will be back here.

Was a very nice room, clean, did purchase romance package but didn't receive bath package.

Went to bed WITH MONEY in our wallets. Woke up with NO MONEY in our wallets, my whole weeks pay had been stolen. Confronted manager and she wanted NOTHING TO DO WITH US. Would not help and kept trying to tell us we had left money in our car and it was stolen from there. Well NO. I knew how much money I had and I would NOT let it leave my side. Except of course when we sleep cause of course u think your room SHOULD BE SAFE. I would NEVER recommend this place if it were the last place left.

Dear jessica s,
We were very sorry to hear of the loss of your money and feel we did our very best to assist you at the time. As soon as you reported this to us (5 hours after you checked out) we contacted the police. They could find no evidence of any forced entry into your room and the electronic key card records show that only your own card was used to gain access. As a result, we feel that any accusation of dishonesty or lack of concern by any of our team to be unfair.
